8 New WWE NXT Signings In 2026

Heading into 2026, there are quite a few names that fans could potentially sign with WWE NXT in the coming 12 months.

From talent on Evolve and LFG to those who work with another promotion, it seems like the company has their eyes on potential talent who could bolster the NXT roster in the new year.

WWE NXT could further expand their roster of talent by making a few key acquisitions in the next year that would help create a new identity and feel for the brand.

Here are eight potentially new WWE NXT signings in 2026.

8. Leon Slater

Since winning the TNA X-Division Title from Moose at Slammiversary 2025, Leon Slater has been on a meteoric rise in the company and beyond.

Becoming a regular part of WWE NXT TV, Slater has formed a fun, exciting new tag team with Je’Von Evans and been tearing it up every time the bell rings to prove himself.

Slater recently teamed with Evans to face World Tag Team Champions AJ Styles and Dragon Lee at the December 13 WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event for John Cena’s Final Match.

With “The Young OG” now the number one contender to face Oba Femi for the NXT Championship at New Year’s Evil, it would make a ton of sense if Slater went on to sign with WWE later in 2026.

7. Moose

Another TNA Wrestling star who has made their presence felt on WWE TV throughout 2025 is Moose.

First making his debut earlier this year, the former TNA World Champion most notably challenged Oba Femi for the NXT Championship at Roadblock in March.

Then on the December 16 edition of WWE NXT, Moose returned to the brand to challenge Ethan Page for the NXT North American Championship.

Moose could punch his ticket for a WWE NXT contract by capturing the North American Title and signing with the company in 2026.

6. Sean Legacy

In October 2024, WWE announced their ID program where they signed several top independent names to give them a gateway to the Performance Center.

Bringing back a WWE Evolve revival brand, the show has been used to showcase talent from the ID program and PC on a weekly basis.

Among the top talents on WWE Evolve has been Sean Legacy. Even getting a few opportunities on NXT most notably challenging Ethan Page for the North American Title, Legacy has impressed fans and management alike for his in-ring ability.

Displaying his skills over the past year, it is clear that Legacy is ready for the next stage and should be a high priority to sign up for WWE NXT in 2026.

5. Kali Armstrong

After making her debut in the very first match on WWE Evolve, it was clear from day one that Kali Armstrong was a special talent.

With remarkable speed, strength and presence, Armstrong has proven herself to be a “Statement Maker” and a “Moment Maker” in her time on Evolve.

The first ever WWE Evolve Women’s Champion has even been mentioned in reports as someone the company sees as a future WrestleMania headliner.

After a few appearances on the brand, it feels like the right time for Armstrong to become an official member of the WWE NXT roster in the new year.

4. Harlem Lewis

Making his WWE debut on Evolve, Harlem Lewis positioned himself as a hard nosed brawling brute when he was introduced.

After a short stint on Evolve, Lewis went on to make his mark on WWE LFG where he made it all the way to the finals against Shiloh Hill in season two before coming up short.

Following this loss, Harlem Lewis has remained active, heading over to Japan alongside Charlie Dempsey and representing NXT in Pro Wrestling NOAH.

Now that a new year is about to start, it might be time for Lewis to finally find a role on WWE NXT with his experience from his previous stints elsewhere.

3. Keanu Carver

Alongside Harlem Lewis, Keanu Carver was introduced as the other lead hoss or big man on the WWE Evolve brand.

After getting past Lewis, Carver would stake his claim for a shot at the WWE Evolve Men’s Championship, but he failed to capture the title after two opportunities.

With his impressive size and football background, Carver feels ready for a major push over on the WWE NXT brand.

Carver joining NXT could open the door for him to exert his dominance on some of the top babyfaces on the brand like Oba Femi, Myles Borne and Je’Von Evans.

2. The Vanity Project (Jackson Drake & Swipe Right)

Another set of WWE Evolve stars who have made several appearances on NXT in the past year has been The Vanity Project.

Consisting of Brad Baylor, Ricky Smokes and WWE Evolve Men’s Champion Jackson Drake, the group have become the faces of the Evolve brand in 2025.

Regularly featured on the program, Drake and Swipe Right have took their momentum from Evolve and started to make appearances on NXT as allies of NXT North American Champion Ethan Page.

The Vanity Project bringing their frat boy antics to WWE NXT could become a thorn in the side of GM Ava or any other babyface on the brand right now.

1. Mike Santana

There is no denying that there is no other TNA Wrestling who is more popular right now than Mike Santana.

Completing his meteoric rise to the top of the promotion, Santana defeated Trick Williams to win the TNA World Title at Bound For Glory 2025.

However, this reign was short-lived after Frankie Kazarian cashed in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet trophy to defeat Santana to win the TNA World Title in November.

Now that he no longer holds the top prize in the company, it feels like WWE might grab Santana for themselves and could easily position him to be the top babyface for the NXT brand in 2026.
