With numerous WWE stars out of action due to injury, there could be some big returns set to occur as soon as WrestleMania 42 has wrapped up.

From injured stars, to others who simply haven’t been on TV for a bit, there could be some intriguing returns coming up for fans.

Here are seven potential returns on the WWE Raw after WrestleMania 42.

7. Jordynne Grace

One currently injured star that could make her return after the road to WrestleMania is said and done is Jordynne Grace.

While she picked up an ankle injury during a match on Main Event ahead of SmackDown on March 6, Grace has been in good spirts.

Although the injury did halt her recent momentum on the blue brand, it would make total sense to see her make a big return on the WWE Raw after WrestleMania.

Flipping brands to take on new challengers like Asuka, IYO SKY and Bayley, there could be some heated rivalries ahead for Jordynne Grace on Netflix.

6. Bron Breakker

After suffering a hernia on the Raw after the Royal Rumble, Bron Breakker’s WrestleMania 42 hopes were dashed.

However, with reports that Breakker is working diligently in rehab to return sooner rather than later, it could be that the rising star returns after WrestleMania 42.

Able to resume his feud with Seth Rollins when they are both medically cleared to compete, there could be a brand new rivalry that unfolds.

Whoever leaves Las Vegas with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship will have a big target on their back, so it could be that either CM Punk or Roman Reigns has to contend with the return of Bron Breakker.

5. Roxanne Perez

A potential return that could happen on the WWE Raw after WrestleMania 42 might be Roxanne Perez.

Out of action due to having a mass removed from her back, Perez could be back in action in the time after WrestleMania 42.

Possibly making a big impact if she were to make a return after Liv Morgan captured the WWE Women’s World Championship from Stephanie Vaquer in Las Vegas, Perez’s loyalty to the Judgment Day could be tested.

Possibly set for a babyface turn if she is to ditch the clubhouse for singles action, Perez could find new alliances in the post-WrestleMania landscape.

4. Bronson Reed

After suffering a distal biceps tear in February 2026 which carried a potential return timeframe of between 3 – 6 months, Bronson Reed’s return appears to be while off.

However, despite Reed likely not being cleared for in-ring action anytime soon, he could make an appearance on TV.

Potentially wrapping up The Vision in its original iteration by the end of WrestleMania 42 weekend in Las Vegas, Reed could end up making his allegiances clear going forward.

Possibly still siding with Theory and Paul, it could be equally likely that Bronson Reed switches sides in the conflict and aligns with Seth Rollins.

3. Chris Jericho

Known for the unexpected, the Raw after WrestleMania has earned a reputation as being the host to some memorable WWE moments.

Since it remains unclear what is next for the legendary WWE and AEW star Chris Jericho, it could be that he makes his big return on the WWE Raw after WrestleMania 42.

Able to be a surprise that pays off for fans, Jericho could create a new infusion of excitement after an already long weekend of exciting events.

Weighing in on the main event scene straight away or simply joining the show before he actually hits in-ring action, Jericho popping up on the Raw after Mania could end up being the perfect vehicle for a major return storyline.

2. Chad Gable

One WWE star that remains out of the spotlight at the minute is Chad Gable.

While conspiracy theorists suggest that Gable already has returned to WWE action appearing as The Original El Grande Americano — the identity of the luchador remains a locker room secret.

However since Gable has been out of action since June, it could be that it is finally time for the American Made leader to make his triumphant return along with his former faction.

With the Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile having been in a bit of holding pattern in Gable’s absence, perhaps a big return for the entire squad on the WWE Raw after WrestleMania is in order.

1. Chelsea Green

Another currently injured star that could find herself back in action on a new brand is Chelsea Green.

After chipping the bone in her ankle during in-ring competition on SmackDown, Chelsea Green has continued to be incredibly entertaining even from the sidelines.

Certainly able to channel her recent wheelchair use into one of the most beloved professional wrestling tropes made famous by both Kevin Nash and Linda McMahon — Green could make a miraculous recovery and stand up from her wheelchair at a crucial moment.

Leading to Green potentially flipping brands to WWE Raw, there could be so many more feuds for SmackDown’s standout star if she were to make her way over to Netflix.
