We may only be just under three weeks into 2026, but this year has already been a year of new faces making an impression on WWE Raw and SmackDown.
Whether it be more NXT call-ups to join Je’Von Evans, or new signings from the free agency market, we could soon see even more shake-ups to the roster on Monday Night Raw.
Here are seven potential new WWE Raw signings.
7. Blake Monroe

Following her unplanned loss of the NXT Women’s North American Championship to Thea Hail on December 16, Blake Monroe has been linked with a main roster call-up.
With the idea reportedly being discussed internally in WWE, and WWE not putting the NXT North American title back on Monroe, it seems like a move to Raw could be a possibility.
While WWE may decide to have the former AEW star pursue the NXT Women’s Title before she’s called up, Monroe is certainly main roster ready and the company shouldn’t wait too long before pulling the trigger.
Perhaps a move to WWE Raw could come after a cameo in the Women’s Royal Rumble on January 31, with Monroe beginning a feud by eliminating a top babyface star on the brand.

6. Santos Escobar

After months of questions regarding his status, Santos Escobar made his return to the ring during AAA’s FOX debut.
Attacking El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Escobar looks set for a run in his native Mexico, but one would expect that he will soon return to WWE TV also.
Escobar has not been listed on the WWE roster page since his brief departure from the company in October, and therefore does not belong to Raw, SmackDown or NXT.
Whether alongside Los Garza once again, or on his own, we could see Escobar become a member of the red brand before too long.

5. Oba Femi

After vacating his NXT Championship at New Year’s Evil, vignettes have been airing to tease the main roster arrival of Oba Femi.
While recent reports have suggested that “The Ruler” could be headed to Raw, the vignettes have been shown across both shows, leaving it unclear which show he will end up on.
The Royal Rumble being around the corner may lead to WWE holding off on introducing Femi until that event, with the 27-year-old having the capacity to make a serious impression in the 30-man match.
However, with two more WWE Raw’s still to come before the Rumble takes place, the company may decide to have Femi make a splash on Monday nights by publicly declaring for the Rumble on Raw.

4. AJ Lee

While the majority of her appearances since returning to WWE have come on Monday nights, AJ Lee is not yet an official member of the Raw roster.
Given that her appearances have been sporadic, it’s not surprising that she’s not affiliated to a specific brand, with other part-time names such as Brock Lesnar also not belonging to one specific show.
However, considering a showdown with WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch is likely heading into WrestleMania, and AJ’s husband CM Punk already belongs to Raw, we could see her officially join the Raw roster.
Potentially then engaging in new feuds with talent such as Liv Morgan and former foe Nikki Bella post WrestleMania 42, we could be seeing more of AJ Lee on Monday nights.

3. Chris Jericho

At the time of writing, Chris Jericho is still a member of the AEW roster, despite it being widely reported that his contract with the company was due to expire at the end of 2025.
While this has led to some doubts regarding the timing of Y2J’s WWE return, it feels like he will be back sooner rather than later.
A Royal Rumble surprise entry seems to be the most exciting option, but it remains to be seen which brand Jericho will join afterwards.
With old foes such as CM Punk and AJ Styles, and potential new ones such as The Vision, the red brand seems the more tantalising option out of the two.

2. Powerhouse Hobbs

Unlike Chris Jericho, Powerhouse Hobbs is 100% gone from AEW, and is no longer listed on the company’s roster page.
In news that came somewhat out of nowhere, Hobbs went from AEW World Trios Champion to reportedly WWE bound within a week, and following the confirmation of his AEW exit it appears as if a WWE debut is imminent.
Again, like Jericho, WWE may decide to debut Hobbs in the Royal Rumble Match, however, given that he doesn’t have the same name recognition, it feels like a better idea to debut the 34-year-old in an angle instead.
With The Vision recruiting new muscle, Paul Heyman adding Hobbs to the group would immediately establish him as a star to watch in 2026.

1. Jacy Jayne

Along with Blake Monroe, WWE NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne is another name who has been linked with a main roster call-up.
Jayne has showcased that she has all the tools to succeed on Raw or SmackDown, truly breaking out in 2025 after almost five years on WWE’s third brand.
While it does feel inevitable that Jayne is called up, its unclear whether Jayne will be drafted to Raw or SmackDown alone, or alongside Fatal Influence stablemates Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid.
Fallon has been in NXT a while and could certainly impress on the main roster, while Reid is still likely in need of more experience in NXT, so it’s unclear which way WWE will go when it’s time for Jayne to step up.
