With numerous storylines set to culminate in Las Vegas at WWE WrestleMania 42, it seems that at least some babyface turns have been teased.
From potential break-ups that could lead to a split amongst groups to returning stars that could immediately change their current alliances — there are some fascinating options as to who could switch up their character at the big event.
Here are seven WWE stars that could turn babyface at WrestleMania 42.
7. Tama Tonga

One babyface turn that could end up starting a brand new storyline for multiple characters in the wake of WWE WrestleMania 42 would be Tama Tonga.
Potentially leading to a split within the MFTs, there could be any number of defectors from Solo Sikoa’s group.
With JC Mateo and Talla Tonga having been only associated with the group so far in their time in WWE, it could be that here is a split coming soon within the group.
Certainly with several members able to turn against Solo, it would be intriguing to see another Bloodline Civil War play out albeit this time between entirely different warring family members.
6. JD McDonagh

While JD McDonagh definitely took part in the vicious ousting of Finn Balor along with the rest of the Judgment Day — he could potentially turn babyface in the end.
If McDonagh were to find a change of heart and end up aligning with Balor again in the end, the pair could both have new energy as babyfaces.
Proving pivotal in any potential bout between Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor in Las Vegas — McDonagh could reveal his babyface behavior in an important moment.
Potentially costing Dominik Mysterio the Intercontinental Championship, another defection could spell the end of Judgment Day.
5. Kairi Sane

It has been a long time coming for a potential babyface turn for Kairi Sane.
With WWE fans sympathetic to her plight with Asuka throughout recent months, it has seemed as though Sane was a reluctant heel.
Although her actions remained dastardly at times, they are clearly at the insistence of her leader Asuka, a dynamic that could create a great match in the end.
If Sane is finally able to break free from the mental hold of Asuka, she could certainly be set to turn babyface soon.

4. Ricky Saints

One potential babyface turn that could come from an NXT call-up at WrestleMania 42 could be Ricky Saints.
This year, NXT’s Stand & Deliver happening before the main roster festivities in Las Vegas on April 4 in St. Louis, Missouri — leaving room for storylines to wrap up in NXT before WrestleMania 42.
Potentially leading to call-ups ahead of the big event or even in Las Vegas, one notable move could be to launch Ricky Saints on the main roster with a more babyface bend.
While his recent work as a heel in NXT has been compelling, perhaps the best version of Saints is one that blends his signature cocky attitude with his natural likeability.
3. Bron Breakker

When Bron Breakker was last seen in WWE, he was certainly meant to be a heel but continued to have positive fan reactions.
Potentially returning from injury to align with a more babyface presentation overall, Breakker could definitely capitalize on his connection with fans.
With complexity to his character in his on-going feuds, Breakker could make his return and become a brand new era of babyface.
Since he could make a major impact at WWE WrestleMania 42 to exemplify his new energy, perhaps turning against The Vision could be the perfect way to cement his rogue new persona.

2. Michin

Adding a layer of intrigue to the fight for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 42 was a recent alliance that was revealed and took down Rhea Ripley.
While Jade Cargill has amassed a new group behind her including Michin and B.Fab, it could be that the group ends up being short-lived.
Potentially aligning with Rhea Ripley in the end to help the WWE Raw star secure victory, Michin could prove to have an important role in one of the women’s main events at WrestleMania 42.
Setting the stage for a potential tag team showdown in the future at Backlash 2026, there could still certainly be more trouble brewing between Michin & Ripley and Cargill & B.Fab.
1. Randy Orton

With mystery still surrounding several details regarding WrestleMania 42, there could still certainly be twists and turns left on the Road to WrestleMania this year.
After winning the Elimination Chamber match in order to move on to challenge for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 42, Orton would see his opponent change from Drew McIntyre to Cody Rhodes after the latter reclaimed the title on SmackDown.
Leading to a dramatic heel turn segment from Orton by which he viciously assaulted Rhodes to the horror of those watching in the arena and at home, it would seem that Orton has resurrected his more evil Viper persona in a quest to reclaim a top championship.
However, there could certainly still be a way that Orton winds up coming out of the event having returned to his former beloved form — particularly if it it involves Orton rebuking an offer from The Final Boss as it remains uncertain who Orton could be talking to in a recent string of mysterious phone call segments backstage.
