6 WWE Raw Feuds For “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt

As revealed on Raw during night two of the WWE Draft, the red brand ‘Let Him In’ – Raw decided to pick “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt as its number one draft pick.

This should mean that WWE has big plans for the former Universal Champion. However, this is WWE we are talking about, and the company doesn’t really have “big plans” for anyone until the last minute…

However, with The Fiend and his accomplice Alexa Bliss both over on Raw, we are sure to be treated to fresh feuds. This should hopefully increase Raw’s quality as, pre-Draft, Monday nights were a bore to sit through.

Let’s discuss six potential feuds for “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt on Raw.

Keith Lee

Isn’t this a mouth-watering prospect?

Keith Lee has been in limbo since debuting on the main roster on the Raw after SummerSlam. Having great matches with Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre but pathetic endings with no contests and disqualifications alike.

Nothing has changed after that as he is still not picking up any wins in this rivalry with Braun Strowman. WWE just doesn’t know how to book a man as talented as Keith Lee.

He’s being put in these mega-blockbuster feuds but WWE isn’t capitalising on his ‘limitless’ (pun clearly intended) potential. This could all change in a feud with The Fiend.

Both are big meaty guys, and both can cut unique and mind-blowing promos. The war of words would be unimaginable between these two!

The best part about this is that either man could strike the victory. It would be a special treat to the fans after a horrible year for the world.

Randy Orton

Ever since The Fiend was born, the uniqueness of his rivalries compared to others is that he challenges his former sins. He is out seeking vengeance for who hurt him in the past. One of Wyatt’s biggest feuds was against former ally Randy Orton.

Currently, Orton is in a long, never-ending rivalry with WWE Champion Drew McIntyre. This will hopefully culminate at Hell in a Cell in their cell match for the title.

If it does – and it surely should – perhaps we could see The Fiend attack Orton, reigniting their feud on the red brand.

Previously, Orton viciously left Wyatt after winning the Royal Rumble back in 2017. Once Wyatt won his first WWE World Championship at Elimination Chamber the following month, Orton betrayed him, burning down his house in the process.

This led to a match at WrestleMania which had too much sperm snake entrance, holograms and maggots and too little wrestling. Orton won the title here adding to the many reasons why The Fiend had to rise from the ashes.

Now that they are both on the same brand once again, a rivalry would be fun, and could be a reason for an even darker or babyface turn for Orton after losing to Wyatt.

Samoa Joe

As much as I love Samoa Joe commentating on the three-hour show, his talent in the ring is undoubtedly missed. An exciting way to bring him back to in-ring competition would be to have him interrupt a Firefly Fun House promo challenging Wyatt to a huge brawl!

The acting and expressions of both man and Fiend would totally elevate this rivalry from great to insane! Furthermore, both men can convey a dark, gritty persona which should excite the adult audience while sending chills down the spines of the younger fans.

Please give me this as soon as possible, WWE!

Ricochet

I really feel for Ricochet. As much as WWE has tried to make 2020 look like a fantastic year for him, handing him a 365-documentary and pretending like it’s his best year ever – this has certainly not been the case. Overall, Ricochet has had a horrible year on the main roster.

He lost to Brock Lesnar in quick fashion at Super ShowDown during his WWE Title match before the world went haywire. After that, he got thrown into a ‘yay, we are best, best friends’ with Cedric Alexander, Apollo Crews and Mustafa Ali. All while having star performances on mediocre shows such as Main Event. Who actually watches Main Event?!

Now that they have all gone their separate ways, Ricochet is back on the bench. He is the definition of last picked on the dodgeball team, unfortunately. Well, I have a solution which could make Ricochet soar amongst the stars once again. Have him feud with “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt.

Ricochet is a superhero of sorts which means a rivalry with The Fiend could be something thrilling! An exceptional hero vs villain dynamic. The match would be creative and could offer spots like a mandible claw in mid-air etc. Wyatt could also destroy Ricochet and give him the character resurgence he has required for so long!

RETRIBUTION

Imagine if the two biggest havoc-bearers in the company right now collide?!

Mustafa Ali was revealed as the leader of RETRIBUTION a few weeks ago and for some reason, his explanation was dropped from last week’s Raw. It seems clear that WWE has no plans to build RETRIBUTION and they were a last-minute viewing figures solution. However, that never works and now they are just a mid-card act wreaking destruction on one brand. Ooooh! I’m shaking in my boots.

Ali, T-BAR, MACE and SLAPJACK could have had the potential to be something, but clearly, they will never be in WWE’s eyes. Unless we have them glare into the real force of decimation: “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt.

They are both similar in some way. Ali used to look at the light but now both Ali and Wyatt look into the darkness. This rivalry is the grittiness RETRIBUTION has been lacking.

Moreover, Wyatt’s puppet, Alexa Bliss, could get involved in the action and have a feud with RECKONING which would be really fun!

Drew McIntyre

Last but not least, the biggest potential feud for The Fiend on Raw is a WWE Championship bout against the champion, Drew McIntyre.

Drew McIntyre has been running the Raw brand since WrestleMania 36 and has no plans of slowing down. Likewise to The Fiend being picked first on night two, the ‘Scottish Psychopath’ was chosen as number one on night one.

Both have been at the height of their careers as of late and a collision would be sensational. Earlier this year, WWE had plans to give The Fiend a huge title rivalry with Roman Reigns. This was speculated to occur at WrestleMania, but was changed to Goldberg vs Reigns then even more WWE typical – Goldberg vs Strowman. Obviously, this was to give Reigns a health break during the pandemic so we guessed the goliaths locking hands would come in the future.

Reigns returned as the biggest heel in the business at SummerSlam spearing Wyatt and Strowman. Instead of setting up the anticipated Wyatt vs Reigns, the ‘Tribal Chief’ won the title in a three-way a week later at Payback.

It is clear that The Fiend would get buried with a golden shovel if he decided to battle Reigns now. So why not have him feud with the less-protected McIntyre?

This rivalry would be main event worthy. I can just imagine McIntyre being the warrior that he is and looking The Fiend head-on without a single flinch. This would be like The Witcher meets WWE and I can’t wait!

Lastly, if there is one man or monster I can see ripping the title from McIntyre’s waist, it would be “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt.

I'm 18 years old and quite the nerd when it comes to WWE, Marvel and gaming. My main ambition in life is to travel the world.
