6 New TNA Wrestling Signings To Debut At Bound For Glory 2025

TNA Wrestling’s biggest annual pay-per-view, Bound for Glory, takes place tonight.

The company has enjoyed a resurgence in 2025, signing a formal partnership with WWE — which has seen TNA stars appear on NXT programming — and drawing increasingly larger live crowds.

With their change in fortunes and a new television deal reportedly on the horizon, the big show could also feature the debut of several new signings.

WrestleTalk considers who we could see appear at Bound for Glory.

6. Wes Lee (Dezmond Xavier)

WWE NXT star Wes Lee

Wes Lee was released from his WWE contract on 10 October, ending a four-year stint with the company that saw him capture both the NXT North American Championship and the NXT Tag Team Titles alongside former partner Nash Carter.

Could we now see him make an immediate return to TNA Wrestling, the company he left in 2020 to join WWE, and reunite The Rascalz with Zachary Wentz — formerly WWE’s Nash Carter?

Resuming his Dezmond Xavier name in TNA seems the most likely next step for the 30-year-old, but will that comeback happen as soon as Bound for Glory?

Given he will almost certainly be under a no-compete clause with WWE, TNA fans will probably have to wait a little longer to see the full reunion of The Rascalz.

5. The Good Brothers

The Good Brothers were released from their second stint with WWE in February.

Since then, Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows have returned to their old stomping grounds, New Japan Pro Wrestling, for a one-off appearance, as well as teamed together across the global independent scene — competing in the UK, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Canada — yet they’ve still to find a permanent home.

The team have a storied history in TNA, debuting at Slammiversary 2020, where they went on to become three-time Tag Team Champions before departing for WWE in 2022.

Still maintaining strong name value in the wrestling world, could we see The Good Brothers make their return to TNA at Bound for Glory?

4. Shotzi Blackheart

WWE star Shotzi

Shotzi Blackheart was another star to leave WWE this year — with her contract not being renewed rather than her being released.

Of all the talent to exit the company in 2025, none have cut a more frenetic schedule than the 34-year-old, who has wrestled 25 matches across all major independent promotions in the US and Canada since June — even wrestling with a broken arm, performing with her arm in a cast.

While not always the smoothest in-ring worker, Blackheart exudes charisma and works incredibly hard between the ropes.

Given her name value and super charisma, it wouldn’t be surprising to see her land in TNA — with a debut at Bound for Glory a distinct possibility.

3. Maki Itoh

Joshi star Maki Itoh has made multiple appearances in US promotions over recent years, showing exactly why she’s regarded as one of pro wrestling’s most charismatic performers.

Having appeared for AEW as well as top US indies such as MLW and GCW, her home promotion has long been Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling in Japan.

However, her relationship with TJPW came to a surprising end at the end of August when the 30-year-old elected not to renew her contract — sparking speculation about a potential full-time move to the United States.

Itoh’s level of charisma could light up the Knockouts division in TNA — could we see the inimitable “Fired Idol” make her debut at Bound for Glory?

2. Braun Strowman

For the second time in his career, Braun Strowman was released from WWE in May.

Since then, he has yet to sign with another promotion — something of a surprise given his level of star power in pro-wrestling.

In a recent interview with Collider, the 41-year-old revealed that he is “semi-retired” from wrestling, expressing greater interest in pursuing a dream acting role as Jason Voorhees in the Friday the 13th franchise.

However, “semi-retired” isn’t “fully retired,” and with TNA Wrestling’s lighter schedule compared to WWE’s, we could see “The Titan” sign with the company — perhaps with a surprise debut at the company’s biggest show of the year.

1. Killer Kross

Karrion Kross & Scarlett at WWE SummerSlam

Karrion Kross’ WWE contract was not renewed last month, leading both him and his partner Scarlett Bordeaux to exit the company.

Since then, the pair have made little secret of their desire to return to WWE — even going so far as to publicly rule out talks with AEW.

Given TNA’s ongoing working relationship with WWE, Kross could well view the promotion as a viable route back to his beloved former employer.

With that in mind, there’s every chance we could see the return of Killer Kross to TNA at Bound for Glory.
