WWE Survivor Series 2025 takes place on Saturday 29 November, with the event serving as the company’s last main roster PLE of the year.

For the first time in the event’s 38-year history, it will be held in a stadium — Petco Park in San Diego, California.

Given the big-time nature of the show, WWE fans can expect some major moments and, potentially, a few surprise debuts.

Here are six stars who could shock the California crowd with an unexpected appearance.

6. Oba Femi

For the fourth year in a row, Survivor Series is seemingly set to be headlined by a WarGames match – the men’s bout was originally planned to feature The Vision faction against a team reportedly led by CM Punk and Roman Reigns.

While the exact line-ups were never officially confirmed, Seth Rollins’ shoulder injury has forced WWE to rethink the match and make some key changes.

Could this open the door for a surprise addition to The Vision’s side?

If so, we could very well see the debut of former dominant NXT Champion Oba Femi — the 27-year-old powerhouse is more than ready for the main roster, and what could make a bigger statement than aligning him with Paul Heyman?

5. Stars of NXT Europe

Last week, WWE announced the latest names for its new recruitment class at the Performance Centre — among them were standout European indie stars Mike D Vecchio, Aigle Blanc, and Zozoya.

The signing of these three has been rumoured for months, with each wrapping up their runs on major European independent promotions over the summer.

Their additions have also fuelled renewed speculation about the long-mooted launch of NXT Europe.

Survivor Series would be the perfect stage to officially launch WWE’s next brand — introducing its three potential top stars, Mike D Vecchio, Aigle Blanc, and Zozoya, live on camera.

4. Ethan Page

NXT North American Champion Ethan Page reportedly has several supporters backstage pushing for his elevation to the main roster.

In recent months, he’s delivered a string of standout matches on NXT programming and formed a pro-Canada duo with Chelsea Green, which quickly got over with the NXT audience.

Could we see his call-up come as soon as Survivor Series?

And if so, will he debut as a solo act — or continue his wildly-popular heel pairing with Green on WWE’s main roster?

3. Jacy Jayne

Jacy Jayne is perhaps the longest-standing member of the NXT roster, having been part of the developmental brand since 2020.

At the recent Halloween Havoc PLE, Jayne lost her NXT Women’s Championship to Tatum Paxley in a standout match — arguably the best on the show.

With the title now off her, we could finally see the 29-year-old star elevated to Raw or SmackDown.

Jayne has proven herself to be an effective in-ring performer with significant charisma — introducing her at Survivor Series would provide a massive platform and the perfect launchpad for her WWE main roster career.

2. Chris Jericho

Recent months have seen speculation reach fever pitch about Chris Jericho leaving AEW and returning to WWE.

On the October 29 edition of Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez noted that the backstage feeling in WWE is that Jericho is indeed coming in.

So, could he appear at Survivor Series?

While Jericho may very well be on his way back to his old stomping grounds, his AEW contract doesn’t expire until the end of the year, making a Royal Rumble return far more likely.

1. Trick Williams

Trick Williams is another NXT star clearly on the verge of a main roster move.

The 31-year-old recently lost his TNA World Heavyweight Championship and failed in his attempt to recapture the NXT Title at Halloween Havoc — with his scheduled Last Man Standing match against Ricky Saints on the November 11 edition of NXT potentially writing him off the brand for good.

That timing would be perfect for a debut at Survivor Series, officially marking his transition to WWE’s main roster.

Williams exudes uber-charisma — could Survivor Series be the start of a run that propels him to the top of the card in WWE?
