With 2026 around the corner, there could be some changes that alter the entire landscape of the promotion for the better.

Here are six potential changes to TNA Wrestling in 2026.

6. New Broadcast Home In AMC

At the beginning of December, it was announced that TNA Wrestling had agreed to a TV rights deal with AMC Network.

Thanks to this new deal, TNA will air its weekly Thursday Night Impact show on AMC every Thursday.

This marks a stark change for TNA as they will be available in over 60 million homes, which should cause increases in viewership and exposure.

Making AMC their new home will start on January 15 and will see TNA take the next step towards establishing themselves as a key player in the pro wrestling world.

5. New Timeslot

The aforementioned move to AMC Network will have some underlying changes to the TNA programming.

One of the most important notes as part of the announcement was that TNA Impact will have a timeslot change on their new broadcasting home.

While Impact will remain on Thursday nights, the show will now begin at 9 p.m. Eastern, instead of its traditional 8 p.m. start time.

This may lead to a more adult based presentation and stories being told on TNA Wrestling on their new home of AMC Network.

4. Production Improvements

TNA Wrestling will be premiering on AMC Network starting on January 15, which should lead to some overall improvements.

One element of the company that needs some adjustments is the production side of the company.

The overall look and feel of TNA Wrestling should have some major changes that helps them have better presentation moving forward.

3. WWE NXT Partnership Increases

To start 2025, WWE and TNA Wrestling announced their multi-year partnership between the two companies that would create unprecedented crossover opportunities.

This WWE NXT partnership has helped TNA Wrestling to create new fans that has helped their audience in certain markets, leading to their live event ticket sales success in 2025.

While reports circulated that the partnership with WWE was ending with the new media rights deal, this does not seem to be the case with the crossovers still present on TNA Wrestling programming.

With the recent NXT invasion storyline, it feels like this WWE partnership will only increase and become stronger heading into 2026.

2. More TNA Stars Heading To WWE

Now that there will be more of a presence from WWE on TNA Wrestling television, there should also be more appearances from TNA talent on WWE TV as well.

This has been the case and has become more prominent as the year of 2025 has gone by.

Leon Slater has stepped in a similar position filled by past TNA stars like Joe Hendry and Jordynne Grace where he has been a major player on NXT and even made an appearance on the main roster at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

With several different names from the roster having their contracts expire in 2026, there should be even more TNA stars who make the decision to head to WWE as a natural transition.

1. New Additions To The TNA Wrestling Roster

While TNA Wrestling will most likely lose some stars from their roster, they should be able to gain some more as well.

Considering the money reported for the new TV rights deal with AMC, TNA Wrestling should have an influx of cash that should help them become a destination for free agent talent.

Whether it be stars from the independent or former WWE and AEW stars, TNA on AMC should make the company a more desirable landing spot for free agents.

With the likes of Chris Jericho, Karrion Kross, Scarlett, Bishop Dyer, Calvin Tankman, Hyan and Maya World all set to be or already free agents, TNA Wrestling will have their pick of the crop of stars now available to make the company much better in 2026.
