Whether it be to how the show looks or who is on the program, TNA iMPACT should look somewhat different when it premieres on AMC next month,

Here are six potential changes to TNA Wrestling on AMC.

6. More Live Shows

Throughout 2025, TNA Wrestling has ran more live TV tapings with iMPACT airing as it happens on several occasions.

With this recent move to AMC, fans should expect these live tapings to continue and even possibly increase.

Having live formatted television is one of the key factors in why AMC offered a TV rights deal to TNA Wrestling.

While it has been confirmed that taped shows will continue to be aired, there is no doubt TNA Wrestling will feature more live episodes in 2026 now that they are on AMC TV.

5. Improved Production

TNA Wrestling has their strengths as a company, but production has never really been that for the promotion.

AMC TV is available in 60 million homes, meaning TNA will be watched by its biggest audience in over a decade.

With this move to AMC, TNA will have to improve their production with the money with this new deal helping to benefit this side of the promotion.

TNA iMPACT with better production should lead to fans having a much different perception of the company on AMC than it is viewed currently on AXS TV.

4. More WWE Stars Showing Up In The iMPACT Zone

At the beginning of 2025, WWE and TNA Wrestling announced an official working relationship between the two promotions.

This has seen stars from both companies crossing over and appearing on each other’s shows on a more consistent basis.

With the likes of Trick Williams, Jacy Jayne and AJ Styles all having noteworthy runs or appearances in TNA in 2025, this new TV deal on AMC should lead to even more as the company heads into the new year.

Looking to increase their viewership on the new network, the two promotions could decide to allow WWE main roster stars to appear in the iMPACT Zone and bring more notoriety to TNA Wrestling on AMC.

TNA Wrestling officially announced their new TV media rights deal with AMC Network on December 2, 2025.

In this announcement, the company revealed that the January 15 premiere will begin at 9 p.m. Eastern and will air at that time moving forward.

This is a significant change with TNA iMPACT usually starting at 8 p.m. Eastern on Thursdays on their current home of AXS TV and traditionally beginning at that time regardless of their network or day of airing.

This new timeslot might bring a grittier and more adult feel for TNA moving forward, with AMC being known for their adult-oriented hit shows like Breaking Bad, Walking Dead and Mad Men.

2. Format Changes

The new timeslot for TNA iMPACT could be just the start of a more formatted change going on for the company.

The current on-screen product of TNA iMPACT has a similar approach to WWE and has very formatted shows that follow the same formula.

From more adult based storylines to starting the show in unique, innovative ways, TNA Wrestling has the opportunity to switch things up and present their company in a different way on a new network.

This move to AMC TV should be used as the chance to break standards and move away from the norm set by the industry leader by changing the format of TNA iMPACT and giving fans something new to latch on to.

1. New Free Agent Signings Coming In

TNA Wrestling has a great deal of momentum with this new TV rights deal, but they will most likely have an influx of money coming into the promotion from AMC as well.

With this money coming in for the company, it should lead to TNA bringing in some notable free agents.

Whether it be a former WWE star or a standout indie worker, there is an abundance of talent that is available for TNA Wrestling to bring in to add a new look to their roster that will need some improvements heading to a new network.

From the likes of Donovan Dijak and Shotzi Blackheart to Lena Kross and Darius Carter, there are a wide variety of stars that could be acquired by TNA to give the promotion a huge jolt of energetic, new talents that will only benefit them long-term.
