5 WWE Stars Triple H Could Use More Right Now

Since Triple H took over WWE creative many stars have found themselves back on TV .

In the Vince McMahon era, numerous wrestlers were forced to sit at home without any explanation.

No injury, no time off, just no creative plans. Fortunately, these things have changed though.

Criminally underrated talents like Drew Gulak and Apollo Crews have been moved to NXT to be used more.

Others became regulars on TV like Mustafa Ali and Xia Li.

But still, some names appear to not factor into creative plans currently.

Today we are going to take a look at those underused names.

5. Shanky

Shanky had his last match in WWE in July 2022. Since then he has not appeared on TV at all.

He came in as part of WWE’s initiative to obtain more talent from India. His first big splash was at “WWE Superstars Spectacle”, where he won as part of an 8-Man Tag Team in 2021.

Later he became a team with Veer Mahaan as Jinder Mahal’s two new heavies on SmackDown. Once Mahaan was moved to Raw, Shanky developed a desire to dance around the ring.

This eventually led to a split between Shanky and Mahal. The latter was recently moved to NXT.

The tall Indian is clearly still very green in the ring and has little to no promo skills. It might be best to settle him with a new character and send him to NXT Level Up to improve.

4. Aliyah

Aliyah’s story in WWE is filled with setbacks.

Her latest came when she won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside Raquel Rodriguez but quickly suffered an injury and dropped the title.

Since then it has been revealed that she has been cleared to wrestle since October 2022. Aliyah recently aired her grievances about this on social media.

Right now we are in WrestleMania season and there is still no sign of the former Tag Champion. Seems like she is just waiting for the right moment.

We can only hope that this moment is coming soon, maybe after WrestleMania. You never know with Triple H. She might also be in line for a big character change, much like Lacey Evans received recently.

3. Angel & Humberto

Here comes a double entry.

Both Humberto and Angel are super underused. If they are lucky they get one match per month on TV and that’s it.

This is a shame for the team known as Los Lotharios arrived with a splash in WWE. At first, they had great singles runs – Angel Garza even won the NXT Cruiserweight Championship at one point.

But the two cousins have not done much since forming their team and losing their last names. Their last appearance so far came as part of the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship tournament.

But that seemed like a one-off again as they were not factored into a storyline and lost in the first round.

Both are way too gifted to make fans go: “Oh, they are still here” every once in a while. But first, they probably need an edge, a gimmick. Something fans get latched onto.

2. Dana Brooke

Dana Brooke hasn’t had a match on a WWE main show since November 2023, where IYO SKY beat her on Raw.

Since then she has made regular appearances on WWE Main Event and also featured in the Royal Rumble.

Brooke’s career in WWE never reached championship glory – unless you count the 24/7 Championship (and Dana does count that one).

The title was moved to the bin and Dana took that personally.

There was not much to do with a crowded main event scene on both Raw and SmackDown, however, with Emma returning to WWE, there might be an opening for Emma and Dana to reunite.

A serious run in the WWE Women’s Tag Team Division might help Dana to find her footing again.

1. Cameron Grimes

Cameron Grimes had his fair share of ups and downs in WWE.

He started off as the annoying heel and slowly developed into on of the most likable characters in NXT.

Things became stagnant when roster cuts happened NXT was rebranded, and this also resulted in storyline changes and another swap of his gimmick.

He was now a much more clean character and his theme song was alternated due to the cuts of William Regal and the singer Josiah Williams.

His loss against Joe Gacy on NXT in November 2022 became his last televised match before he disappeared.

Since then it has been rumored that Grimes would appear on the main roster, but we are still waiting.

Where is Cameron Grimes? Hopefully, this question will be answered soon – on SmackDown or Raw.
