With AEW WrestleDream now in the books, the build begins for the promotion’s next pay-per-view.
Full Gear is set to take place on Saturday, November 22, from the Prudential Center in New Jersey.
As one of AEW’s original four PPVs, this is likely to be a big-time show where significant title changes could take place.
Here are five potential title changes we could see at AEW Full Gear 2025.
5. Mercedes Moné Becomes AEW Women’s World Champion
WrestleDream witnessed a notable interaction between AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander and TBS Champion Mercedes Moné – one that saw Statlander hit a Samoan Drop on Moné.
In the wake of the encounter, Moné challenged Statlander to a title match at Full Gear.
While yet to be made official at the time of writing, this is clearly a bout set to take place on the show.
With Moné already failing once in her efforts to capture the World Title – defeated by Toni Storm at All In in July – she could be successful this time, becoming the first person to simultaneously hold both of AEW’s women’s singles championships.

4. Kenny Omega Defeats Kyle Fletcher For TNT Title
On the September 3 edition of AEW Dynamite, Kyle Fletcher delivered a brutal beatdown to Kenny Omega, hitting him with a devastating brainbuster through a table.
In the wake of that attack, it appeared a big-time grudge match between Fletcher and Omega was being set up.
While the bout has yet to happen, it certainly seems to be on the cards – and could very well take place at Full Gear.
Few would doubt that it’ll be an in-ring banger, but whether Fletcher drops the title remains another question – we could instead see the 26-year-old score the biggest victory of his career by defeating AEW icon Omega.

3. Toni Storm & Mina Shirakawa Become Inaugural Champions
AEW announced that the brackets for the tournament to crown the inaugural Women’s Tag Team Champions will be revealed on the October 22 edition of Dynamite.
While yet to be announced, it is expected that the finals will take place at Full Gear.
At WrestleDream, it was strongly hinted, following both Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa’s losses, that the two would be teaming together to compete for the new titles.
With Storm being the top woman in AEW, putting the belts on her and her popular babyface partner Shirakawa would be a way of instantly legitimizing the newly created championships.

2. Konosuke Takeshita Defeats Kazuchika Okada for Unified Championship
Konosuke Takeshita and Kazuchika Okada’s simmering rivalry within the Don Callis Family looks finally set to boil over, with Takeshita expected to challenge Okada for the AEW Unified Title.
We could very well see this happen at Full Gear.
Okada is arguably the best in-ring worker of the past decade, while Takeshita is making a strong case to be the best wrestler in the world today – their eventual one-on-one meeting promises to be a dream match, with Takeshita likely to finally dethrone Okada for the title he’s held for nearly 600 days in terms of the Continental Championship.
While that outcome appears likely, the real question is whether it happens as soon as Full Gear.

1. Brody King & Bandido Drop Tag Title To FTR
Bandido and Brody King have been having a standout run with the AEW Tag Team Title – and at WrestleDream they delivered arguably one of the best tag matches of the year against Konosuke Takeshita and Kazuchika Okada.
But how long will their reign, which began at Forbidden Door in August, actually last?
FTR are themselves on an incredible run of in-ring form – despicable heels delivering standout character work and a string of excellent matches that have re-established them as top contenders.
While both teams have been on fire, we could very well see a title change at Full Gear with FTR becoming three-time champions.
