With WWE Raw on February 23 confirmed to be ‘A Tribute to AJ Styles’, there could be some top names set to make appearances.
Taking place in Styles’ home state of Georgia, the show could see some surprise appearances either in person or via a video package.
Here are five returns that could happen at the WWE AJ Styles Tribute show.
5. Brock Lesnar

One massive return that is sure to happen on this week’s WWE Raw on Netflix is Brock Lesnar.
With WWE announcing that “The Beast” would in fact be back on February 23, it’ll be interesting to see what plans WWE have in store for him ahead of WrestleMania 42.
While it is likely that Lesnar’s return is an entirely separate affair from the overall theme of an AJ Styles tribute, it could have some overlap.
If Lesnar were to really heel it up by interrupting someone’s warm comments about “The Phenomenal One”, it could be the perfect moment to generate some extra heat.

4. Bryan Danielson

With both his wife Brie and sister-in-law Nikki returning to WWE, perhaps Daniel Bryan could make a return someday in the future, although this is admittedly unlikely for this coming Monday.
While Bryan Danielson is in all likelihood not going to appear live in-person for the send-off event, we could see him make an appearance in some sort of video tribute.
Able to use the power of technology to simply send in a video well-wish on his retirement, much like he did previously for John Cena’s 20th anniversary in WWE, there could be others from AEW that could pop-up as well.
Possibly also snagging Samoa Joe and Christopher Daniels to send messages to Styles, it would make for a truly touching tribute.

3. John Cena

Despite no long being an active member of the WWE roster, John Cena has certainly never claimed he would be staying away from WWE in all capacities forever.
Quite the opposite actually with Cena having clarified that upon his return, he will be John Cena the man rather than a character.
Giving the perfect opportunity to show the difference between the two, Cena could appear in his sharp-suited Hollywood attire in order to pay tribute to the legendary AJ Styles.
Potentially also serving as an announcement that either AJ Styles or John Cena are primed to be inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2026, this would be the perfect reason to see Cena again so soon.

2. Goldberg

Another legend that fell victim to GUNTHER in a similar way to AJ Styles was Goldberg.
After being retired by “The Ring General” in front of his own home Atlanta crowd back in July 2025, he could be the perfect person to make a surprise return to honor Styles.
While it could seem like a bit of scene stealing moment, having Goldberg address his loss to GUNTHER as well could give him the TV time that was missed to close out the July 12 Saturday Night’s Main Event.
After his final match aired in full, his comments to the crowd came after the feed for the special episode ended — so seeing him get to say his piece, as well as honouring Styles could possibly be a full circle moment.

1. Royce Keys

After last being seen in the Royal Rumble 2026 match, Royce Keys could come back on the scene on WWE Raw on Netflix.
Teasing several big rivalries during his appearance in Riyadh, perhaps a surprise appearance on Raw appearance could clarify what might be next for the star.
While Keys has had two dark matches at SmackDown (picking up wins against both Nathan Frazer and Chris Sabin), he could still pop-up on Netflix to properly begin his run in the company.
Creating a brand new path on the Road to WrestleMania 42, Keys could arrive on the February 23 Raw in Atlanta and kick off a hot new feud.
