Here are five new potential WWE free agent signings coming soon.

5. David Finlay

While David Finlay has been a member of NJPW since 2015 and affiliated with the Bullet Club WarDogs stable, it could be that his time in the company is wrapping up.

With recent reports that he is set to be out of contract with NJPW, his next moves are up in the air as there is reportedly interest from WWE.

Able to join brother Uriah Connors in NXT, it seems more likely that Finlay would head straight for the main roster.

Potentially able to make the leap to WWE, an alternate path forward for Finlay could also be becoming a foundational member of the new era of TNA Wrestling.

While some fans may have expected to see Chris Jericho make a return to WWE on the first WWE Raw of the new year, no such luck.

However, the Royal Rumble set for later this month in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia — Jericho may still make a huge surprise return, if he hasn’t already debuted elsewhere.

Potentially set to be the marquee name of TNA Wrestling’s launch of Thursday Night iMPACT! on AMC Network, Chris Jericho could be poised to disrupt the industry again.

While he has been absent from AEW since Worlds End 2023, there have been plenty of speculation regarding what is next for Danhausen when he is sprung from the AEW bench.

It would seem that when he is able to sign elsewhere, Danhausen would be a solid snag for WWE to take on either NXT or the main roster.

Able to continue to build his cult following in WWE, Danhausen’s TV ready character is the perfect merchandise mover to push.

While NXT continues to crossover with TNA Wrestling, it could end up that Danhausen’s impact is felt across multiple brands in 2026.

Going by her real first name of Saraya when she appeared in AEW, she made her in-ring return and captured the AEW Women’s World Championship during her time away from WWE.

Following in the footsteps of the likes of Cody Rhodes and CM Punk, Paige could make her way back to WWE and make an impact in a brand new way.

Able to serve as a veteran presence in the WWE women’s division, Paige could end up leading the charge along with AJ Lee and Nikki Bella in reshaping the future in WWE yet again.

1. Private Party

AEW's Private Party

A pair of potential new signees in WWE could be Private Party (Isiah Kassidy & Marc Quen).

Absent from AEW since dropping the AEW World Tag Team Championship to the Hurt Syndicate in January 2025, it certainly seems as though the pair are awaiting the end of their contracts before popping up elsewhere.

While Zay & Quen could be a great addition to the rebuilding NXT tag team division, the pair may also be the perfect infusion of fun on the main roster.

Bringing TV ready characters as well as ambition, Private Party could end up having a big year in WWE in 2026.
