TNA Wrestling President Carlos Silva has recently been talking up the idea that the company could be on the verge of a new television deal.

He described his proposed timeline for this in a recent interview with The Takedown, noting it was his goal to get it done in time for the promotion’s biggest pay-per-view of the year, Bound For Glory, in October.

A new television deal, if it comes to fruition, would likely result in several new signings for the promotion, as it attempts to become a viable competitor, particularly to AEW.

Here are five performers we could see “cross the line” and sign with TNA.

5. Priscilla Kelly

Since the no-compete on her WWE contract ran out in June, Priscilla Kelly – the former Gigi Dolin – has worked a frantic schedule.

The former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion returned to the indies, wrestling across the US, including a return to the widely followed GCW, where she first made her name before signing with WWE.

Several injuries hampered her run in WWE, yet Kelly remains a talented and charismatic performer.

We could soon see the 28-year-old in TNA Wrestling, where she would be a valuable addition to the roster.

4. Ace Austin

Ace Austin left TNA Wrestling after a six-year run at the beginning of June.

Since becoming a free agent, there hasn’t really been any talk of Austin signing with WWE, AEW, or New Japan Pro Wrestling — although he did wrestle for former TNA booker Scott D’Amore’s Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling, having a standout bout with Josh Alexander at the MLP’s recent Resurrection pay-per-view.

Upon his departure, the former multiple-time X-Division and Tag Team Champion said that TNA “will always be my first home.”

A return home could finally see the talented 28-year-old pushed to the top of the card.

3. Shayna Baszler

Shayna Baszler is now officially a free agent, with her WWE no-compete clause expiring following her release from the company in May.

Appearing on The Ariel Helwani Show on August 13, she discussed having talked with other promotions.

While AEW – where her good friend Marina Shafir works – was mentioned specifically, she stated, “I don’t care as much about the letters behind it, I just want to practice my craft.”

There is no doubt Baszler, a former two-time NXT Women’s Champion, would be a big signing for TNA Wrestling, where she could be pushed as a dominant Knockouts Champion.

2. Man Like DeReiss

Man Like DeReiss has been impressing across the indies this year, wrestling in some of the biggest promotions in the UK, US, and Europe.

One of the UK’s standout unsigned talents, he won the most prestigious indie tournament in the country – Super Strong Style 16 – in May, defeating his longtime tag partner, TNA’s Leon Slater, in the final in a standout affair.

He has already appeared in TNA Wrestling once this year on the B-show Xplosion, so there is clearly interest in the 28-year-old.

TNA could be the perfect landing spot for the uber-charismatic Brit.

1. The Good Brothers

The Good Brothers were released from their second stint (Gallows’ third) with WWE in February.

Since then, they have yet to find a permanent landing spot, remaining free agents.

The pair have history in TNA Wrestling, where they were three-time Tag Team Champions in their last run between 2020 and 2022 before leaving to return to WWE.

With their notable name value, a return to TNA could be imminent.
