WWE Wrestlepalooza takes place this Saturday, September 20, at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
The show is the first PLE to air on WWE’s new partner ESPN’s streaming platform, and as a result it’s set to be a big-time event with a star-studded card.
The main event is set to feature a clash between Brock Lesnar and John Cena, alongside the in-ring return of AJ Lee as she teams with husband CM Punk against Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins.
However, there are still some alterations that could happen before – and even on the day of the show – and here are five .
5. Stipulation Added To Cody Rhodes vs. Drew McIntyre

On the August 8 edition of WWE SmackDown, Drew McIntyre brutally attacked Cody Rhodes, driving him through the announce table with a Claymore kick and writing him off TV.
Rhodes made his return on September 12, stopping McIntyre from doing the same to Randy Orton and announcing he would face the Scotsman at Wrestlepalooza.
Given the vicious nature of McIntyre’s assault, a stipulation could be added to their clash on the go-home SmackDown.
The question is – what violent match type could we see at the PLE?

4. LA Knight Appears During Usos Tag Match

One of WrestlePalooza’s featured bouts will see the reunited Usos take on the Vision pairing of Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.
In recent weeks on WWE Raw, the focus hasn’t been on the Usos reforming as a team or even their clash with Breakker and Reed, but rather LA Knight‘s involvement in the storyline.
Knight has been feuding with Jey Uso – with the two attacking one another on Raw – leaving Jimmy caught in the middle, and the tag bout looks set to push that story forward.
The big question is whether LA Knight turns up during the match to help or hinder the Usos’ chances of victory.

3. Rusev vs. Dominik Mysterio Added To The Card

On September 12 at Worlds Collide, Dominik Mysterio captured the AAA Mega Championship – the top prize in WWE’s Mexican promotion – making him a double champion alongside the Intercontinental Title.
Then, on the September 15 edition of Raw, his next challenger for that Intercontinental gold emerged when he was confronted by Rusev.
This bout is clearly next in line for the younger Mysterio, but the question is when it will take place.
It would be a late addition, but WWE could look to add this clash to the Wrestlepalooza card.

2. US Open Challenge Announced

In recent weeks, WWE US Champion Sami Zayn has launched the US Open Challenge on SmackDown, echoing what John Cena did back in 2015.
Like Cena, Zayn has already delivered standout matches in the challenge – including a recent banger with Rey Fenix on the September 12 edition of SmackDown.
On the WrestlePalooza go-home SmackDown, he’s set to face Carmelo Hayes in another bout that promises to impress.
But with Hayes currently having problems with his partner The Miz, could we see Miz get involved – leading to a US Title match between Zayn and Miz at the PLE?

1. Asuka Turns Heel

WrestlePalooza will crown a new Women’s World Champion, with former titleholder IYO SKY set to battle Stephanie Vaquer for the vacant belt.
One of the big questions surrounding the match is the role of Asuka.
In recent weeks she has clashed with SKY – who were formally part of Damage CTRL together – over her relationship with Rhea Ripley, confronted both Ripley and Vaquer, and even tried to attack Vaquer after her win over Kairi Sane on the September 15 Raw.
It seems all but certain that Asuka’s slow-burn heel turn will be completed at WWE’s WrestlePalooza – by costing her former friend SKY the championship.
