Jon Moxley’s new version of the Blackpool Combat Club has turned everything in AEW upside down.
The entire locker room is trying to fend off the invading force of the group that was once the honourable wrestling stable in AEW. While groups like The Elite are still deciding where they stand on this, decisions have to be made by everyone in the company.
Are you with the BCC or against them? Who might actually end up joining the group? Some shocking names might be in store. Here are five AEW stars to join Jon Moxley’s new faction.
5. Katsuyori Shibata

In-ring proficiency is embedded in the Blackpool Combat Club, with one of the best technical performers of all-time William Regal being the former figurehead when it first started.
No other wrestler signals mat-wrestling more than the man who calls himself ‘The Wrestler’ Katsuyri Shibata.
His status with babyface group The Conglomeration remains unclear, but after recently tasting defeat to Jack Perry at WrestleDream, Shibata may be someone who takes a liking to the words of Moxley.
Next to Castagnoli, PAC, Shafir and Yuta, he is a man who can silently but viciously strike when ever Moxley calls for it and would be an ideal fit with the group.

4. Daniel Garcia

Garcia only just re-signed with AEW and has now officially finished up his feud with MJF, as the former World Champion moves on to Adam Cole and The Undisputed Kingdom.
Recently he has been seen among the stars fighting against the BCC, being seen coming to the aid of Bryan Danielson after his attack from Moxley and company at WrestleDream.
But cast your minds back to the time when Garcia was fighting with himself on whether he is a wrestler or a sports entertainer? This question could come up in him again.
He decided to stay in the place ‘Where the best wrestle’ rather than going to the land of ‘Sports Entertainment’, so maybe now is the time for him to go all in on the wrestler in him and finally join the BCC. A move that would also add pressure on Wheeler Yuta to finally step up.

3. HOOK

If Garcia is not doing the job of the youngster who already underwent a huge character progression, that role could instead go to HOOK.
HOOK is currently is embroiled in a feud with Christian and The Patriarchy, of whom he seems to accuse with being responsible for attacking his father Taz.
However, there is always a chance that a twist could be in store and it was HOOK himself who took out his father, something that would instantly elevate the second-generation star to become a top heel character on AEW TV.
Following this he could join up with the BCC as his in-ring style perfectly matches with Moxley’s group.

2. Shane McMahon

Ok, bending the rules slightly with this one as Shane McMahon is not signed to AEW in any way as far as we know. However, if you’ve been paying attention to Jon Moxley’s promos since starting up his new version of the BCC, it seems as if a higher power is pulling the strings of the group.
This could all be the work of an outside force, someone not remotely affiliated with AEW at present. Someone who has been underestimated and is a far bigger threat to AEW than The Elite. That someone being Shane McMahon.
Shane-O-Mac has been linked with AEW throughout much of the year, with the internet breaking following the revelation that he had met Tony Khan for a private meeting, as well as chance airport run-ins with The Young Buck and Mercedes Mone.
So far, there has been no word that McMahon has signed with AEW, but there are few more exciting possibilities as to who could wrestle control of AEW away from Tony Khan.

1. Orange Cassidy

Considering the events of last week’s AEW Dynamite, this would be an absolutely shocking turn of events.
But yes, Cassidy could come to a point where he realises that he if can not beat the BCC, he may be better joining them.
A heel Orange Cassidy is uncharted territory in AEW and among the most interesting additions Tony Khan could make to Moxley’s new faction.
As much as Cassidy is a joke character, that stigma could perhaps be broken with a turn. And considering their recent actions against his best friend Chuck Taylor, there is no more impactful a way to do that than by joining forces with Moxley.
