A WWE star made their return to TV and seemingly turned heel in the process on tonight’s April 8 episode of NXT.
Tonight’s show opened with a match between Jaida Parker and Jordynne Grace, with the idea that the winner would go on to challenge NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer at Stand & Deliver.
However, Vaquer herself was on commentary, and the match didn’t have a conclusive finish when the action got close to her and she got physical with both Grace and Parker.
With the three of them brawling in the ring, former NXT Women’s Champion Giulia made her return and cleared the ring of Grace and Parker, before coming face to face with Vaquer.
As Vaquer wanted to exchange pleasantries, Giulia had other ideas as she attacked Vaquer and laid her out, standing over her with the NXT Women’s Championship belt.
The last time Giulia was on TV was when Vaquer beat her for the title on March 11.
Later in the show, Vaquer announced that she will defend her title against all three of Giulia, Grace and Parker in a four-way match at WWE Stand & Deliver.
