A WWE star has recalled recently making John Cena cry after a recent interaction they had with him outside of the ring.
Ahead of his upcoming retirement from WWE, Cena recently made a stop at the Dungeon with TJ Wilson and Natalya, where he helped coach some other wrestlers at the dojo.
Speaking about Cena’s trip to the Dungeon with WFAN, Natalya noted that she gifted Cena a copy of her new book, and that it made Cena cry when he read it.
She said:
“At the end of the night I gave him my book, I was like ‘just wanted you to have this’, and I wrote a little message for him inside of it, just about gratitude and what he means to me and the industry.
“The next day he goes ‘I was flipping through the book, I started reading it, and I couldn’t put it down’.
“That night. This is one of the busiest guys in the world.
“That night he sends me a text and he goes ‘Nattie. I finished the book, wow wow wow, I was bawling my eyes out’. If you can make John Cena cry.
“I think he hadn’t planned on reading it, that’s the thing about the book is that it’s meant to be, it’s a big page turner, there’s a lot of cliff-hangers, but it’s a story.”
