A WWE star is getting her knee evaluated ahead of a big title match at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Salt Lake City, UT.
The October 24 episode of SmackDown saw WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton in action, taking on former NXT colleague Kiana James in singles action.
Stratton picked up the win in the match, however, would be subject of a two-on-one attack from Giulia and James after the bell, that was until Jade Cargill made the save.
Unfortunately for Stratton her night was not over there, as Cargill then turned heel by attacking the reigning champion, tossing her into the ring post and over the announce table at ringside.
Jade would then target Tiffany’s knee, stomping the champion’s leg whilst her foot was placed on the steel steps.
Following the attack, WWE’s official Twitter account provided an update on Stratton’s status, announcing that she is now getting her knee evaluated ahead of Saturday Night’s Main Event, but is “adamant” to proceed with the match.
WWE wrote:

Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
Stratton vs. Cargill was made official for Saturday Night’s Main Event during SmackDown, with Triple H’s reaction to the match leading to a message from Jade herself.
There has not yet been any reports suggesting Stratton is dealing with a legitimate injury at this time, but we will provide updates on her status as more information becomes known.
