AEW Star Has Very Awkward Encounter With CM Punk T-Shirt

A video has emerged of AEW star Colt Cabana having an unexpected and awkward encounter with a piece of CM Punk merchandise.

Cabana and Punk have had a tumultuous history, with the latest episode coming at the AEW All Out media scrum on September 4, in which Punk launched into a tirade against his former friend and tag team partner.

Punk is currently suspended from AEW following an alleged backstage incident which became violent. Also involved in the incident were Ace Steel, Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks, who have also been suspended.

Appearing in a live video on the community marketplace website Whatnot for a Pro Wrestling Tees auction, Cabana sorted through several wrestling t-shirts and revealed them to the camera.

After picking up a Jay Lethal t-shirt, Cabana picked up a CM Punk shirt.

Cabana immediately realised whose shirt it was that he was holding, and instantly discarded it.

He took the unexpected encounter in good humor, smiling and saying “that’s the screenshot, of me holding this up.”

“Have fun with that one, internet” he added.

Thank you Colt, we will.
