A top WWE star has provided an update on them potentially wrestling more matches outside the company after a recent match.
IYO SKY made her return to Marigold in Japan this weekend, with her facing off against legendary rival Mayu Iwatani for the first time in over seven years since their time together in Stardom.
This was IYO’s second match in Marigold following her match with Utami Hayashishita last Summer, and she has provided an update on future matches in the company.
Speaking to HypeTalkTV, IYO was asked about her future wrestling in Japan following her match with Mayu, with her noting that Mayu said she wants another match with IYO.
She said:
“For now, nothing has been decided after Marigold, but Mayu said she wants to wrestle me again, and there are others in Japan who’ve said the same, that they’d like to face me too.
“So if the timing works out, I’m sure I will be back wrestling in Japan again.”
