Swerve Strickland has shared his first comment following his AEW return in the closing moments of the Full Gear 2025 pay-per-view.
A major title change took place in the main event of November 22 show, with Samoa Joe defeating Hangman Adam Page for the AEW World Championship.
Swerve Strickland made his surprise return following the bout, entering the ring and fighting everyone in the Opps Dojo.
The show went off the air with Strickland and Page standing tall, following Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, Katsuyori Shibata and HOOK fleeing the ring.
Swerve Strickland has taken to Twitter following the show to share a photo from his return appearance.
He captioned the photo:
“Hit different”
Swerve Strickland hasn’t wrestled since unsuccessfully challenging for Kazuchika Okada’s AEW Unified Championship at Forbidden Door in August.
He had surgery for a torn meniscus later that month, with the former AEW World Champion confirming that the procedure had been successful on August 27.
