Stephanie McMahon has confirmed her role for John Cena’s Final Match edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.
John Cena’s WWE retirement is now just two weeks away, with the 17-time champion set to take part in his final wrestling match on December 13 in Washington DC.
A tournament has been ongoing on WWE television to determine Cena’s final-ever opponent, with Gunther, Jey Uso, Solo Sikoa and LA Knight the final four participants in the tournament, with the winner facing Cena at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
John Cena has often touted Stephanie McMahon as one of the influences on his career in WWE, and Stephanie has now confirmed her role for John Cena’s final match.
During a sit down interview with Megan Morant, Megan noted that Stephanie would be in attendance for Cena’s last match, with Stephanie then confirming that her and Joe Tessitore would serve as the co-hosts for the event.
Tessitore has served as co-host for many of WWE’s Saturday Night’s Main Event shows alongside Jesse Ventura, whose contract with WWE has now expired following his appearances on the first four editions of the event.
Joe Tessitore and Stephanie McMahon served as co-hosts for WWE’s Evolution II event back in July.
