Roman Reigns has commented on potentially winning the 2026 WWE Royal Rumble match a day ahead of the event.
With the Rumble taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia tomorrow night, Reigns appeared on the Pat McAfee Show for an interview today.
Commenting on potentially winning this year’s Rumble – which would be his second Rumble win after previously winning in 2015 – the former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion replied:
“I didn’t come all the way out here for nothing. From Miami, this is a long travel day.
“I haven’t been able to pull this off in over 10 years now. For the longest, I felt like I was the gatekeeper, the runner-up guy. They would spam me and try and get the big pop for the babyface or whatever. “But this feels like me. It feels like me. I think there’s so many different fingers and signs pointing to this.
“I think we’re at a place where our fans are demanding more. I set us up, I put us in position to be fulfilled in the promised land, to be in a position to break records and make an ungodly amount of money. We’re at that point that our fans are craving that.
“And they already know, it’s a proof of concept with me. They know what they’re getting with me.”

When McAfee asked Reigns what physical shape he’s in for the WWE Royal Rumble, Roman Reigns responded:
“We’re always strong, that’s just genetics. And that’s from a lot of work, that’s from compounded time in the gym. So we’re always strong. But we can always come in a little tighter. It just depends.
“It’s the Royal Rumble, the objective of the game is to not get thrown out. So you wanna have a good low center of gravity, you wanna squat down and hold onto that rope if need be. But it’s the same for me. Wreck everybody and leave. The jet’s gonna be fired up ready to get me up out of here.
“We’re coming off of winter break, you know what I mean? Oktoberfest right into Holiday season. We’ve been grinding it out, but I’m a human, you know what I mean? But we’ll look alright.
“But going into Mania, that’s the beauty of this, we have so much time to Mania, so we’re just gonna cruise right in and be comfortable.”
