WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns has taken to social media to share a message following this week’s edition of SmackDown.
Both Roman Reigns and The Rock appeared on the February 16 show, with Reigns officially welcoming The Rock into his Bloodline faction, and The Rock stating that Cody Rhodes’ story is ending and the Bloodline’s is just beginning.
Reigns has now shared a video of himself backstage at SmackDown to Twitter.
Referencing his “Levels Above” hoodie, Reigns noted:
“You think I just wear this for no reason? I told you I’m very honest with you people, I’m not lying. I’m not making up stories, this ain’t ‘creative’. We run it. I’ve been saying that.
“Who’s got the juice around here? Who’s got the stroke? A vice grip on this game’s throat… Can’t nobody do anything about it now. “
You can watch the video below.
It was previously confirmed at the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff show that Cody Rhodes will challenge for Roman Reigns’ WWE Undisputed Universal Championship at WrestleMania 40 in April.
WWE has since teased The Rock and World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins’ involvement in this storyline, fuelling speculation that a tag-team match could also be on the cards.
More details have emerged on The Rock’s WWE booking, with the individual who pitched the Rock’s heel turn revealed.
