Two pre-show matches have been added to today’s January 31 WWE Royal Rumble 2026 card in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The official announced card for the main Rumble PLE today features four matches – the men’s and women’s Royal Rumbles, GUNTHER vs AJ Styles in Styles’ potential retirement match, and Drew McIntyre defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against Sami Zayn.
However, more matches have been added to the live card.
As reported by PWInsider Elite, New Day & Grayson Waller vs Shinsuke Nakamura & The Motor City Machine Guns, as well as The Wyatt Sicks vs The MFTs are set to take place today.
The matches are listed within WWE as “pre-show matches”, but there’s no word on whether they will air as part of the two-hour broadcast Countdown show before the Royal Rumble itself kicks off, or if they will just be for the live crowd in attendance.
WWE generally hasn’t had broadcast pre-show matches for premium live events for the past few years despite the increased Countdown show run times.
We’ll keep you posted with all the news surrounding and throughout the Rumble PLE today, so stay tuned.
