It appears plans for a new WWE faction set to debut soon have been revealed by an NXT star looking to change things on the brand.
For a few years now, NXT has been made up of a mixture of prospects from the indies or within the wrestling business as well as athletes coming from college that are brand new to pro-wrestling.
One of the names who came in from a wrestling background is Lexis King, the son of Brian Pillman.
In a new video posted on social media today, King said that he’s fed up of “NIL trust fund jocks” and “failed Olympians” coming into WWE NXT to take his spot, and teased starting a new faction with like-minded members of the roster to stop it from happening.
He said:
“Another day in bright and sunny Orlando, Florida, about to make my daily drive up to the WWE Performance Center.
“To live out my dream. Monday through Thursday, live events on Friday, Saturday. Six days a week for the past two and a half years. Eight and a half if you count my indie run. But what for? What is it all for?
“What is all the bumps, the bruises, the miles, the injuries, what’s it for? Just so some NIL trust fund jock or some failed Olympian can come in and take my spot? No, that’s not happening anymore.
“You can call me a nepo baby all you want, I don’t care. I’m tired of hiding behind who I am, because that’s exactly who I am.
“My father died on the road in a hotel room. So that I could sit here and play second fiddle to these guys that don’t know their ass from their elbow. I’m not doing it anymore.
“And you know what, there’s others like me. There’s others like me who work here and are tired of taking a back seat and watching this business become something it’s not, watching this business be overtaken by influencers and athletes, and people that don’t respect it. People that don’t have skin in the game. Well I’ve got blood in the damn game.
“And you’re about to find out. Maybe I can’t do it by myself, maybe I do need to find others like me, and put it together and start to claim what is ours.
“Because that NXT ring, everything in this building, is our birth right.”

Along with the video, King attached a caption to the post saying: “Tonight the entire landscape of @WWENXT is about to CHANGE…”
As far as possible members, in recent months, King has been teaming with Brooks Jensen at NXT live events in a partnership that hasn’t made it to WWE TV yet. Jensen is the son of former WWE star Bull Buchanan.
Also, King has recently had some interactions with Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo and Arianna Grace that seemed to be hinting at an alliance. Grace is the daughter of former WWE star Santino Marella.
Charlie Dempsey, the son of WWE legend William Regal, was also part of a group that featured King, Jensen, Lorenzo and Grace that invaded TNA recently.
Uriah Connors, the son of another legend in Fit Finlay, seemed to tease last week that he wasn’t happy in Chase U after their loss to Swipe Right.
