A new AEW tag team name has been revealed via a trademark filing with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Companies like AEW and WWE often file trademarks for certain terms ahead of using them on TV, whether they be wrestler names, team names, event names, or other phrases and slogans to be used as part of the shows, marketing campaigns and a variety of other purposes.
Now, AEW has filed a new trademark for the term Brawling Birds.
The Brawling Birds trademark was filed with the following description:
Conducting entertainment exhibitions in the nature of professional wresting exhibits and performances by professional wrestlers, namely, performances by a tag team of wrestlers during professional wrestling events; Entertainment services in the nature of live professional wrestling performances; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a tag team of professional wrestlers; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a tag team of professional wrestlers
That description seems to confirm the plan is for Brawling Birds to be a new tag team name, but as of this writing, there’s no word on exactly which tag team will be using the name.
