Major WWE Star Sidelined With A Blood Infection

Before appearing prior to the Royal Rumble, WWE star Braun Strowman was off television for nearly two months. He returned on SmackDown and competed in the Royal Rumble but has been absent since.

Now, we know what has been keeping him off television. In a story on his Instagram, Strowman revealed that he recently got an infection that got into his bloodstream. He also noted that the infection caused him to drop close to 15 pounds in just five days.

Braun Strowman played a significant role in Team Raw’s win over Team SmackDown at Survivor Series last November. He was taken off television shortly thereafter as he demanded a WWE Championship match only to be denied.

Strowman entered the Royal Rumble match at number 30. He didn’t last long, being eliminated by Edge a few minutes later.
