A former AEW star has made his WWE debut in the 2026 men’s Royal Rumble match during today’s January 31 premium live event.
The men’s Rumble was the main event of today’s show and the first big surprise entrant came in at #14.
As a new theme song played, the titantron initially displayed the name of debuting former AEW star Powerhouse Hobbs.
However, that name won’t be sticking around as it quickly faded away to reveal Hobbs’ new name in WWE – Royce Keys.
Keys lasted a few minutes but was eliminated by The Vision’s Bronson Reed, Austin Theory and Logan Paul.
Other surprise entrants so far have included the return of Chad Gable, who entered as El Grande Americano to confront the Ludwig Kaiser version of El Grande Americano.
We’ve also had a couple of names from AAA in the form of Mr Iguana and La Parka, as well as the return of LA Knight.
