Current WWE Champion Praised As ‘The Real Deal’

A WWE Hall of Famer has praised a current champion in the company as the ‘real deal’ following their recent arrival.

Since joining WWE NXT back in May 2024, Ethan Page has become one of the top stars of the brand, with him reigning as both the NXT Champion and currently the NXT North American Champion.

Speaking on his Hall of Fame Podcast, Booker T heaped praise on Ethan Page, noting that he is the ‘real deal’.

He said:

“Ethan Page should have been in that photo as well because he’s a guy that, and I said it was great pickup. I said Ethan Page was one of the best pickups NXT could have gotten, just because we had lost a lot of good talent, Ilja Dragunov, Carmelo Hayes, we lot a lot of talent when he came in.

“He fit that role perfectly, he literally filled that hole. Me personally, I did not know how good Ethan Page really was, but this guy, he’s the real deal. He can perform at a very, very high level, he’s very believable, his schtick is very well, his acting, is really, really good.

“He literally checks off just about every box, Ethan Page does.”
