CM Punk WWE TV Appearance Announced

After only appearing in a backstage segment during last week’s WWE Raw, CM Punk has been confirmed to be in attendance for the Monday, December 16 episode.

With a one-on-one clash with Seth Rollins reportedly planned for the WWE Raw Netflix premiere on January 6, CM Punk will look to settle some “unfinished business” with The Visionary on Monday as Raw emanates from the TD Garden in Boston, MA.

As confirmed on WWE.com both rivals will be live on Raw, as well as The New Day who will once again look to speak to the live crowd after an unsuccessful attempt on last week’s show in Wichita, KA.

The following is WWE’s official Raw preview for Punk, Rollins and The New Day on December 16:

“CM Punk is aspiring to enter the championship picture, but he seemingly has unfinished business with Seth “Freakin” Rollins. Rollins has frequently called out The Voice of the Voiceless, though Punk called Rollins a “second-stringer” while being interviewed by Jackie Redmond. Don’t miss CM Punk live on Raw, this Monday at 8/7 C on USA!”

“This Monday, Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins will be live on Raw, potentially on a collision course with CM Punk. Rollins berated Punk last week and is focused on a match with his nemesis. What will The Visionary say regarding The Best in the World this week? Don’t miss Rollins live, this Monday at 8/7 C on USA!”

“The New Day have set a new path after shockingly berating Big E and kicking him out of the group during their 10-Year Anniversary Celebration. The emotional moment sent shockwaves through the WWE Universe, leaving Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods with very little support. This Monday, Kingston will return to his hometown of Boston with the hopes of getting a much better reception than he and Woods received last week. Will Kingston receive a warm welcome or be met with more hostility?”

Also announced for next week’s show is a WWE World Tag Team Championship match between The Judgment Day (Finn Balor & JD McDonagh) vs. The War Raiders (Erik & Ivar), as well as Bron Breakker defending his Intercontinental Championship against Ludwig Kaiser.

While Raw is Punk’s next officially announced WWE appearance, he could potentially be set for a surprise role at tonight’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event – click here for full details.
