AEW star Chris Jericho is set to star in a new series coming to Apple TV, alongside Elle Fanning, Nicole Kidman and more.
With recent rumors that Chris Jericho is heading back to WWE, the AEW star is yet to appear in the company which is currently heading towards the Royal Rumble in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Saturday.
It appears, however, that Jericho is set for an onscreen appearance in the upcoming Apple TV series Margo’s Got Money Troubles.
A recent article on the official Elle Magazine website included a photo of Nicole Kidman in a wrestling ring, with Jericho seen standing behind her in his wrestling gear.
The series is based on the novel Margo’s Got Money Troubles and sees Elle Fanning as the titular character who becomes pregnant by her professor and, at 20-years-old, embarks on a journey to support them both.
While Jericho was not named in the article, Margo’s father is played by Nick Offerman and is described as a “famous pro-wrestler” who provides his daughter with marketing advice that sees her make some of the choices that she does.
Backed by A24, the series also stars Nicole Kidman in an “initially undisclosed role”, that is later revealed to be a friend of Jinx, Margo’s father (played by Greg Kinnear), with her character also being a custody lawyer.
Created by David E Kelley, the series has its Apple TV premiere on April 15 this year.
