Bianca Belair has commented for the first time since showing the beginnings of a heel turn on this week’s WWE SmackDown (March 8).
On this week’s SmackDown from Dallas, TX’s American Airlines Center, a curious backstage segment took place between Naomi and Bianca Belair.
Following a heartfelt interview between Bayley and Kayla Braxton aired, Naomi was seen watching on and expressed her sympathy for the 2024 Royal Rumble winner in her fight against her former friends in Damage CTRL.
This was a sentiment certainly not shared by Belair, who stated that Bayley had it coming based on her actions in the past as leader of Damage CTRL.
While it remains to be seen whether Belair’s comments are the beginning of a heel run or not, it certainly appeared that could be the case.
Taking to social media after SmackDown, Belair would double-down on her comments, saying:
Just speaking facts. And y’all know it’s the truth.
But like I said good luck to @itsBayleyWWE at Mania.
Ima just go mind the business that pays me…
As of right now, Belair does not have a clear direction for WrestleMania 40, but perhaps this new character direction could lead to one.
In related news, Bayley has seemingly secured the permission of a popular rock band to use their music at WrestleMania 40 – click here for full details.
