WWE’s AJ Lee has reflected on the 11 year anniversary of a WWE rivalry, noting that it will never be over.
In 2014, AJ Lee was part of a rivalry with Paige following Paige’s call up from NXT on the Raw after WrestleMania 30, where she ended AJ Lee’s reign as WWE Diva’s Champion.
Over the Summer, Paige and AJ would end up trading the title back and forth numerous times, before the pair had their final match at that year’s Hell In A Cell pay-per-view, with AJ defeating Paige to end their feud.
Taking to her Instagram story, AJ reflected on the 11 year anniversary of the event, and the end of her and Paige’s rivalry, noting that the feud will ‘never’ be over.
She wrote:
“never over, freaks and geeks and frenemies for life @Saraya”
AJ made her return to WWE back in September, with her teaming up with her husband CM Punk to face off against Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch in a mixed tag team match at Wrestlepalooza.
Saraya is currently a free agent after her AEW contract expired last year.
