On June 8, reports circulated that Zilla Fatu was seen at the WWE Performance Center following some interest from the company.
Since making his pro wrestling debut in 2023, Fatu has made it clear that he wanted to be in WWE with the rest of his family.
Now that it seems like this might be a reality, it will be interesting to see what kind of plans WWE might have for Zilla as part of the company’s roster.
Here are seven potential Zilla Fatu WWE debut plans.
7. Becoming The Newest Member Of The MFTs

Solo Sikoa and the MFTs are seemingly set to reignite their rivalry with the Bloodline following Clash In Italy
In 2025, Solo Sikoa established his own group outside of The Bloodline with the Tongans by his side called The MFTs.
Bringing what he called “his family tree” together, The MFTs made their presence felt on Friday Night SmackDown.
Sikoa alongside Tama and Talla Tonga now stand as the remaining members of The MFTs and could add another major star to their ranks.
Zilla Fatu coming in to join The MFTs might feel like a possibility if he does in fact sign with WWE and could see him playing an enforcer role in the faction.
6. Forming A Tag Team With Royce Keys

WWE has been playing into history between Jacob Fatu and Royce Keys on WWE television on SmackDown in recent weeks
Since his arrival in WWE, Royce Keys has become a consistent presence on Friday Night SmackDown.
Over the past month, Keys has been involved in backstage segments and significant interactions with Jacob Fatu, The Usos and Solo Sikoa, making reference to his close relationship with their family.
Having ties to almost every member of the Samoan family dynasty, this could lead to an unlikely partnership with the young star of the family.
Zilla Fatu signing with WWE could lead to a pairing with Keys that might become a threat to both The Bloodline and The MFTs moving forward.
5. Coming To WWE NXT & Attacking NXT North American Champion Myles Borne

Myles Borne began his first reign as NXT North American Champion back in February
Considering Zilla Fatu is only three years into his pro wrestling career, it feels like he needs further time to develop.
Fatu signing with WWE should lead to him starting his run on the NXT brand where he can learn and progress in his career.
Coming to WWE NXT should put him in a major spot on the roster due to Zilla’s name value alone.
Upon arriving in WWE, Zilla Fatu could attack the reigning NXT North American Champion Myles Borne and potentially win the gold that his cousin Solo Sikoa once held.
4. Joining DarkState On NXT

DarkState are currently down a member after recently removing Saquon Shugars from the group
If Zilla Fatu signs with WWE and starts on NXT, there are a few groups that he might fit in with.
Among the current factions on WWE NXT right now, there might not be a better stable that Zilla would feel right at home with than Dark State.
Dion Lennox, Osiris Griffin and Cutler James recently excommunicated Saquon Shugars from the group and might need to add a big name to replace him.
With Shugars now out of the unit, Dark State bringing in Zilla Fatu would be interesting and see them replacing one guy from the indies with another that has the family lineage that makes them value him more.
3. Going After NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo

Tony D’Angelo has a number of challengers in line for this NXT Championship, including the recently debuting Mason Rook, Naraku and Kam Hendrix
If Zilla Fatu is to head to WWE NXT, he might not want to have a lesser position and might shoot straight for the top of the brand.
At WWE NXT Stand & Deliver 2026, Tony D’Angelo defeated Joe Hendry, Ricky Saints and Ethan Page to win the NXT Championship.
Since capturing the title, D’Angelo has been targeted by new stars coming to the brand, such as NARAKU, Kam Hendrix and Mason Rook.
In the latest example of this trend, Zilla Fatu could be the next talent who comes into NXT and tries to go after the NXT gold by laying out Tony D himself.
2. Convincing Jacob Fatu To Start His Own Group To Go Against The Bloodline & The MFTs

Jacob Fatu was forced to fall in line and acknowledge Roman Reigns following his loss at Clash In Italy
During his time on the independent scene, Zilla Fatu worked closely with several members of his family, including Jacob Fatu.
Getting guidance from his cousin, “The Samoan Werewolf” gave Zilla some valuable knowledge and advice along his journey in wrestling.
Now that Fatu might be making his way to WWE, fans could see a reunion of the two cousins, but it could come in the form of Zilla playing an instigator.
Wanting to see Jacob get from under the thumb of Roman Reigns, Zilla could convince his cousin to start his own faction away from The Bloodline and The MFTs that would want to reshape the image of their family moving forward for years to come.
1. Join The Bloodline

Zilla Fatu, the son of the legendary Umaga, has made waves on the independent scene in recent years, including a match with AEW World Champion MJF
This feels like the most obvious and likely option for Zilla Fatu if he decides to officially sign with WWE.
Every major star to come out of the Samoan family dynasty over the past six years have become members of The Bloodline.
Led by Roman Reigns, The Usos, Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu have reached the top of the industry as part of The Bloodline and their reign of dominance does not seem to be ending anytime soon.
There might not be a better way for Zilla to make his WWE debut to be the future of The Bloodline an heir apparent to the throne that Reigns currently sits at as “The Tribal Chief” of the family.
