With WWE WrestleMania 42 fast approaching, there continues to be debate regarding several key details including who will serve as the event’s host.
From potential in-house options that could be recruited to celebrities with recent and historical reference to the “Showcase of the Immortals”, there could be some fun hosts in Las Vegas this year.
Here are six potential guest hosts for WWE WrestleMania 42.
6. NXT Roster

A potential group of hosts for WWE WrestleMania 42 could be different configurations of NXT’s top stars as a way to blend together the two worlds.
With NXT Stand and Deliver announced for April 4 in St. Louis Missouri rather than the typical earlier-in-the-day on Saturday of WrestleMania weekend that has become a standard spot, there could be more opportunity to showcase the NXT roster at WrestleMania 42.
With a number of compelling characters able to take over the hosting duties for one or both nights of Mania, it could be a great deal of fun to see some of the zany antics that make NXT so enjoyable brought straight to the main roster.
With a colorful cast of characters like Ricky Saints, Ethan Page, Blake Monroe, Joe Hendry, Thea Hail, Jaida Parker and more, there would be no shortage of charisma on display.

5. Jelly Roll & Post Malone

A pair of notable WWE fans that have been making their presence felt at several events in the past year, Jelly Roll and Post Malone.
With Jelly Roll in front row for the episode of WWE SmackDown on February 27 Louisville, Kentucky, perhaps he’s poised to make a WrestleMania 42 appearance.
Having popped up at numerous events along with fellow music superstar Post Malone, perhaps the duo could be bringing a brand new tag team to the hosting duties.
Able to be engaging and enjoyable as hosts, the pair could also be a lot of fun mixing it up with some of WWE’s most obnoxious stars.

4. Bianca Belair

One WWE star that fans would be sad to see miss WrestleMania 42 if not for perhaps a hosting role is Bianca Belair.
While there is no official word on when Belair may be able to return to in-ring action, she could certainly be the perfect host for the Las Vegas festivities.
Belair could serve as the perfect host for WrestleMania 42, a detail that while fun and engaging for the crowd at the time, could be documented behind the scenes as a turning point for her character.
Calling in the opportunity to blend fiction and reality for Belair, her character could either be resolved to get back into the World title picture in the future or find herself at a breaking point.

3. Cyndi Lauper

One possible host that could make her WrestleMania return decades after her first appearance could be Cyndi Lauper.
With some fans continuing to pitch Cyndi Lauper as a potential entrant into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2026, she could end up still involved in the show.
Seemingly in town around the time of the event, Cyndi Lauper’s Las Vegas residency is set to take place from April 24–29 and May 1–2, 2026 at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
Potentially taking up hosting duties for WrestleMania 42 in homage to original appearance at the very first WrestleMania, there arguably may not be so many celebrities involved in modern WWE had it not been for Lauper as a cultural trailblazer.

2. Stephanie McMahon & AJ Styles

A duo that could take on the hosting role for WWE WrestleMania 42 could be Stephanie McMahon and AJ Styles.
Set as the marquee names for the WWE Hall of Fame induction Class of 2026, there are still certainly likely others to join the list.
However, with both McMahon and Styles having an effortless connection with the WWE audience, their role as master of ceremonies could prove vital.
With the ability to be both engaging and endearing, the pair could be a lot of fun.

1. The Final Boss The Rock

Last seen making a major impact in WWE with his Elimination Chamber 2025 appearance, The Rock could pop-up ahead on the Road to WrestleMania 42 under the guise of being the event’s host.
With ongoing speculation regarding creative ways for WWE to boost interest in the event, one seemingly obvious way to draw attention would be to bring back The Final Boss.
Since the Undisputed WWE Championship match isn’t yet finalized, The Rock could certainly end up having a vested interest in the main event.
With previous teases between The Final Boss and specifically current Undisputed WWE Champion Drew McIntyre, history with potential Elimination Chamber winner Cody Rhodes and real life connection to possible spoiler opponent Jacob Fatu — it might be time for The Final Boss to recruit a new soul.
