WWE WrestleMania 41 is set to invade Las Vegas for the biggest event of the year but there are still last-minute replacements potentially being made.

From the ongoing mystery surrounding who will face Randy Orton to potential shifts in other title bouts, there may end up being replacements yet to be confirmed.

Here are six potential last-minute replacements ahead of WWE WrestleMania 41.

6. Chad Gable Replaces El Grande Americano

Marking his first appearance at WrestleMania, El Grande Americano is set to face WWE Hall of Famer, Rey Mysterio.

However it seems that there may be something suspicious going on as some fans speculate that the great luchador is actually not a stranger to WWE at all!

With some believing that El Grande Americano and Chad Gable could be the same person, perhaps they could dispel the myth by appearing at the same time…

Or, perhaps feeling like he deserves his own WrestleMania opponent, Gable will take out Americano before the match before stealing his spot in the match against Mysterio.

5. Drew McIntyre Replaced

Set for WrestleMania 41, a big match for Drew McIntyre as he takes on Damian Priest in a Street Fight.

With some noted concern that McIntyre could find himself not medically cleared to compete in Las Vegas, perhaps he will require a last minute replacement.

Priest could still be set to compete in a street fight against a number of surprise opponents – old and new rivals could definitely make a case for wanting to tussle with the former WWE World Champion.

Any number of stars could certainly make a case as to why they want to capture a WrestleMania moment against Priest in the event that McIntyre can’t make it.

4. Bayley & Lyra Valkyria Replaced By Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross (Wyatt Sicks)

Despite winning the title shot via a gauntlet match on WWE SmackDown, the new tag team of Bayley and Lyra Valkyria could be replaced ahead of WrestleMania 41.

Previous rumors having noted that there was a plan for Alexa Bliss to be in a match at Mania which would be tied to her joining the Wyatt Sicks, but none of those plot points have come to fruition.

It was Liv Morgan who eliminated Alexa Bliss from both the Royal Rumble and the Elimination Chamber, which could be enough to summon a dark replacement in the last minute.

If Bayley and Valkyria disappeared before the bout and instead Bliss and Nikki Cross emerged to challenge Liv & Raquel, that could be a pretty iconic WrestleMania moment.

3. Randy Orton Match Remains A Mystery

Randy Orton’s opponent for WrestleMania 41 will definitely be an altered version of the originally scheduled match against Kevin Owens.

After Owens revealed that he would be unable to compete due to injury, there have been teases of Orton’s future opponent but nothing officially revealed yet.

While there is still the go-home episode of SmackDown before Saturday officially kicks off the WrestleMania 41 matches, WWE could always keep the reveal a mystery.

Leading to a lot of possibilities for an outside surprise on the grandest stage of them all – Aleister Black, Miro and Joe Hendry to name a few – the replacement mystery could continue all weekend.

2. Randy Orton’s Opponent Is Revealed In Advance

WWE could always elect to announce Randy Orton’s replacement opponent in advance with a few possibilities emerging of late.

With Orton still having a score to settle with Solo Sikoa, that match-up would make sense, although it wouldn’t necessarily be the most exciting revelation.

One potential swerve is also SmackDown GM Nick Aldis who was on the receiving end of an RKO on the road to WrestleMania.

There is definitely still time for WWE to announce a replacement and then replace the replacement so we’ll have to stay tuned.

1. The Rock Replaces Referee For Undisputed WWE Championship Match

While there have been no stipulations announced in advance for Cody Rhodes‘ title defense against John Cena for the Undisputed WWE Championship, there could always be something in the works.

Although The Rock has disappeared from WWE TV after Cena’s heel turn, perhaps he will be poised to make an appearance in Las Vegas.

The Final Boss character could always resurrect a gem from a bygone era – the corporate special guest referee.

If The Rock were to replace the WWE official for the main event match, there would be endless additional storyline possibilities to close out Mania night two.
