WWE Tag Team Reunions Coming Soon

Whether it be tag teams that split in a violent fashion, or those who grow apart naturally, WWE has many pairings that could reunite after some time apart.

While some may be on separate shows, teaming with different partners, or involved in storylines of their own, these stars could benefit from reuniting with their former partners.

Here are six WWE tag team reunions potentially coming soon.

6. Lucha Bros (Penta & Rey Fenix)

In January 2025, Penta made his WWE debut and became one of the most popular stars on the Monday Night Raw roster.

Then three months later in April 2025, Rey Fenix joined his brother in WWE and started being featured on Friday Night SmackDown.

Many fans believed that it wouldn’t be long before Penta and Fenix reunited and reformed the Lucha Bros in WWE. However, it has now been over a year since both men have started appearing in WWE and they have still not teamed with one another.

It feels like only a matter of time before The Lucha Bros are taking the WWE tag team division by storm and becoming one of the best the company has to offer.

5. Chad Gable & Otis

For several years, Chad Gable and Otis formed a tag team named Alpha Academy and became the WWE Raw Tag Team Champions.

In 2024, Gable turned heel and started abusing his partner, which eventually led to the two men going their separate ways.

While Gable hasn’t been seen on WWE TV even though The Original El Grande Americano has been, Otis has not been consistently featured on the company’s programming in his new Alpha Academy duo with Akira Tozawa.

Whenever The Original El Grande gets unmasked, Gable might make his return and could reunite with Otis to once again capture tag team gold once again.

4. Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill

On the March 20 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Jade Cargill formed a unit with Michin and B-Fab to attack Rhea Ripley in the leadup to WrestleMania 42.

After a couple of weeks of attacks by this group, Ripley went on to call upon her best friend and tag team partner IYO SKY for backup against Cargill, B-Fab and Michin on the April 3 edition of SmackDown.

While Rhea needs one more to truly even the odds, there is a major star who could be on their way back ahead of Mania and that is Bianca Belair.

Following a year on the sidelines with a serious knuckle injury, Belair could make her return and instead align with Cargill to reunite their dominant duo in this new faction alongside B-Fab and Michin on the blue brand moving forward.

3. Finn Balor & Damian Priest

On the March 9 Monday Night Raw, The Judgment Day turned on Finn Balor in a four-on-one attack.

This marked the end of Balor’s run in The Judgment Day after four years with the faction.

Someone else who has been kicked out from the stable in the past at the hands of Balor himself was Damian Priest.

Balor reuniting with Priest to fight back and eventually take down The Judgment Day makes sense story-wise to finally put a bow on the long running faction once and for all.

2. Trick Williams & Carmelo Hayes

Ever since he has been called up to the WWE main roster, many fans have been wondering if or when Trick Williams might reunite with Carmelo Hayes.

With both men being on the Friday Night SmackDown brand, it would be logical for WWE to play off of their established relationship from their lengthy stint on NXT and placing Trick and Melo in some kind of story.

As of late, Hayes and Williams have been interacting after Trick accidentally cost his former friend the United States Championship to Sami Zayn on the March 27 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

Trick and Melo eventually reuniting feels almost inevitable and could see the two stars taking over the entire brand, while helping them both ascend to new heights.

1. Drew McIntyre & Sheamus

WWE stars Sheamus and Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre and Sheamus have been connected and linked to one another’s careers since both men signed with WWE.

Becoming real life friends, McIntyre and Sheamus have been tag team partners and rivals at different stages of their runs with the company.

Now in 2026, “The Celtic Warrior” finds himself on the sidelines with a serious shoulder injury, while “The Scottish Warrior” is coming off the heels of an Undisputed WWE Championship reign and embroiled in a feud with Jacob Fatu heading into WrestleMania 42.

Upon his return, Sheamus could reunite and join forces with McIntyre on Friday Night SmackDown where they could run roughshod over anyone and everyone in front of them.
