On the February 16 edition of WWE Raw, Finn Balor had a disagreement with his fellow Judgment Day members, with Balor telling JD McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio that he wanted to take care of CM Punk on his own.

With Balor scheduled to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Elimination Chamber 2026, he could think about creating a new stable to become champion again.

After years of dissension with The Judgment Day, it might be time for Balor to create a faction that better suits him at this point in his career.

Here are seven WWE stars to potentially join a new Finn Balor faction.

7. JD McDonagh

When JD McDonagh was called up to the WWE main roster, Finn Balor recruited his protégé to join The Judgment Day.

Balor and McDonagh teamed to become World Tag Team Champions on two occasions and have been a stable force within The Judgment Day.

If Balor breaks away from The Judgment Day, it might be time for the former Universal Champion to create something new.

Deciding to create a new faction, Balor might look to McDonagh once again to add numbers to his new group.

6. Sheamus

Finn Balor has made several different friends during his time in WWE, including his fellow native of Ireland in Sheamus.

While Balor has become the number one contender to face CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship, Sheamus is currently out of action after undergoing shoulder surgery.

The former multi-time WWE World Champion is someone who has been a reliable and dependable in-ring competitor.

Adding someone as decorated as Sheamus, Balor would have the perfect person to be the enforcer of his new stable.

5. David Finlay

At NJPW The New Beginning in Osaka 2026, Callum Newman defeated David Finlay in a grudge match.

After the bout, Finlay gave a tearful goodbye to the New Japan Pro Wrestling fans and said farewell to Gedo as well as Hiromu Takahashi.

This led to news circulating that Finlay’s NJPW deal had expired, making him a free agent and gaining plenty of interest from WWE.

When Finn Balor first signed with WWE, he became one of the faces of the NXT brand alongside Bayley.

This led to Balor forming a friendship with Bayley that has been consistent throughout both of their runs in WWE.

Bayley has experienced several setbacks over the last year after being pulled from the WrestleMania 41 card.

Looking to regain momentum and revive his career, Bayley could join this new Finn Balor-led stable to find a new prominent position in the promotion.

With Balor being partly responsible for training “The Man,” he could recruit Lynch to his new group.

While Lynch has become one of the greatest women’s wrestlers of all time, she might need some support from her former trainer in Balor.

Lynch and Balor joining forces in a new faction would make for a formidable duo that features two of the biggest Irish WWE stars in the history of the company.

Owens has been out of action over the past year after being pulled from the WrestleMania 41 card due to a serious neck injury.

If WWE wanted to give him a role back on TV without stepping back in the ring, KO could become the spokesperson for this new Finn Balor faction.

To many fans, Finn Balor’s greatest rival during his entire WWE career might just be AJ Styles.

Facing on several different occasions, Balor and Styles have shown their amazing chemistry and are linked to one another through being the first two leaders of the Bullet Club in New Japan Pro Wrestling.

At WWE Royal Rumble 2026, GUNTHER defeated Styles to retire “The Phenomenal One” from the company.
