While WWE WrestleMania 41 is certainly poised to be one of the biggest shows in history, there were still some stars that ended up off the card.

Although there is always a possibility that more could be added at the last minute, presently there are a handful of rumored stars that ended up being removed from the event.

Here are seven WWE stars who ended up not making the WrestleMania 41 card.

7. Jimmy Uso

WWE stars Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso and GUNTHER

After playing a major role in the last several editions of WrestleMania, Jimmy Uso could be poised to miss the event entirely – at least in storyline.

Uso became an unfortunate victim of GUNTHER in the lead-up to WrestleMania 41 when he was beaten, bloodied and left laid out by the World Heavyweight Champion.

All of that happened as Jey Uso watched on, unable to help as he was zip-tied to the ring ropes.

While he doesn’t have a match at WrestleMania 41 and has been absent from WWE TV since the attack, hopefully Jimmy at least makes an appearance in the event Jey captures victory in the match.

6. Chad Gable

While Chad Gable is not set for a match on the WWE WrestleMania 41 card, there is a match between El Grande Americano and Rey Mysterio.

With Gable’s American Made faction (Julius & Brutus Creed & Ivy Nile) seemingly set to accompany Americano to the ring, we’ll have to wait and see if Chad Gable is also able to make the walk.

There is of course the ever so slight possibility that Gable and Americano are in fact the same person.

But, since El Grande Americano has recently subbed in for Gable in the latter’s illness, perhaps if the captivating new luchador in WWE needed a last minute replacement, he would consider Chad Gable.

5. Alexa Bliss

After making a big return at the 2025 Royal Rumble and participating in the Elimination Chamber match, Alexa Bliss hasn’t seen any in-ring action since.

While there had been some rumors to suggest that Bliss was scheduled for a match at WrestleMania 41, no such match ever came to fruition.

In addition to Bliss’ absence from the WrestleMania 41 card, the Wyatt Sicks (Uncle Howdy, Erick Rowan, Joe Gacy, Dexter Lumis and Nikki Cross) have been absent as well.

There’s every reason to believe Bliss and the Wyatts had plans together for Mania that may have been derailed by Bo Dallas’ injury.

4. Shinsuke Nakamura

It seems as though Shinsuke Nakamura is poised to miss out on this year’s WrestleMania 41.

While it seemed as though the latest, darker character version may have been headed to Las Vegas, a title change would end up leaving Shinsuke Nakamura off the card entirely.

After losing the United States Championship to LA Knight on SmackDown, Nakamura has continued to appear but hasn’t started any new feuds.

Perhaps set for the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on SmackDown before Mania, the Japanese star might still have a big moment in Las Vegas.

3. Sami Zayn

After having a string of memorable WrestleMania events including big Mania moments, Sami Zayn does not have a scheduled match at this year’s event.

Having remained off of television since his brutal unsanctioned match against Kevin Owens at Elimination Chamber, it is possible Zayn could make a surprise return in Las Vegas.

However, there’s no sign of him making an appearance at WrestleMania itself, but of course the Raw after Mania is always full of surprises.

There is definitely a story left to be told between Sami Zayn and either GUNTHER or Jey Uso after their WWE World Heavyweight Championship match.

2. Kevin Owens

After a run of dastardly actions including the betrayal of Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens seemed poised to finally get his comeuppance from Randy Orton at WrestleMania 41.

However in an unfortunate turn of real-life events, it was revealed that Kevin Owens would be unable to compete at WrestleMania 41 in the planned bout against Randy Orton due to injury.

While Owens had been playing a deranged heel character in recent months, fans still offered an outpouring of support after the announcement – but a match for Orton will still go on.

Randy Orton’s replacement opponent has yet to be revealed but he is reportedly still facing someone at WrestleMania 41.

1. Braun Strowman

After seemingly being in the running for a shot at the United States Championship at WrestleMania 41 – it seems instead Braun Strowman is left without a spot.

While he did feud with Jacob Fatu over who would get a shot at LA Knight at the event, in the end it would be the Samoan Werewolf that would win the opportunity to face Knight in Vegas.

Although just because he isn’t scheduled for a match on WrestleMania Saturday or Sunday doesn’t mean he’s left out entirely.

Perhaps poised to repeat his 2019 victory in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, Strowman could still make history in Las Vegas by becoming the first two-time winner of annual tradition.
