Back in 2022, WWE star Finn Balor joined forces with The Judgment Day, but it feels like ever since there has been some underlying tension within the faction.
First, Balor got into issues with Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley, which led to the former WWE Universal Champion excommunicating The Terror Twins from the group in 2024.
Now, there is some animosity between Balor and Dominik Mysterio. This could lead to Finn creating his own faction away from The Judgment Day sooner rather than later.
Here are six WWE stars to potentially join a new Finn Balor faction against The Judgment Day.
6. JD McDonagh
In 2023, Finn Balor opened the door for JD McDonagh to join The Judgment Day.
Ever since then, Balor and McDonagh have become the primary duo in the group and are two-time WWE World Tag Team Champions.
However, Balor’s feud with CM Punk has brought some dissension forming between him and his protégé McDonagh to the surface.
Despite this tension, McDonagh could choose Balor over The Judgment Day and join his faction if he decides to make something new away from their current stable.

5. Sheamus
In November 2025, Sheamus was sidelined when he underwent shoulder surgery.
Since then, fans have not seen ‘The Celtic Warrior’ on WWE television over the past few months.
Finn Balor has a real life friendship with Sheamus based on their similar journeys coming from Ireland to WWE and being viewed as pioneers from their home island.
Sheamus returning to join forces with Balor in a new faction might be the best move if Finn needs an enforcer that could fight back against The Judgment Day.

4. Shinsuke Nakamura
Another longtime friend of Finn Balor dating back to their days in New Japan Pro Wrestling was Shinsuke Nakamura.
Ever since Nakamura signed with WWE, Balor has been one of his closest friends outside of the squared circle.
‘The King of Strong Style’ seems like someone that Finn can trust and know he has some loyalty towards him.
If Balor is to form a faction, he would be hard pressed to find anyone that he trusts more than Nakamura, which makes him a no-brainer recruit.

3. Lyra Valkyria
Finn Balor has been viewed as a pioneer for a whole generation of Irish stars who have come up in the business.
One of those stars who has made a name for themselves in the industry is Lyra Valkyria.
Following in Balor’s footsteps, Valkyria has established herself as a breakout star who became the first ever WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion and viewed as a future world champion as well.
To take that next step in her career, Valkyria could join forces with Balor in his new potential faction that would be a smart recruit to fight against the likes of Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez in The Judgment Day.

2. Bayley
When Finn Balor first arrived in WWE, he became one of the top stars on the NXT brand that came up at the same time as Bayley.
Together, Balor and Bayley were the cornerstones of a period of time during the ‘black and gold’ era of NXT.
This helped Finn and Bayley to become real life friends who are still close on the Monday Night Raw brand.
Bringing this friendship to the on-screen product, Balor could invite Bayley into his new faction, knowing that she has experience against the female stars in The Judgment Day at the moment.

1. Kevin Owens
Another friendship that Finn Balor developed during his rise on the WWE NXT brand is with Kevin Owens.
As rivals, Balor and Owens did battle over the NXT Championship and developed a real life kinship through their mutual respect for one another.
Currently, Owens is out of action with a serious neck injury that will keep him sidelined for at least several more months.
KO joining forces with Balor in his new faction could see him becoming a spokesperson, using his talking skills to bolster the stable and drawing interest in this group’s potential war against The Judgment Day.
