Throughout the 23 year history of TNA Wrestling, there have been various WWE stars who have arrived in the company.
Looking at their current roster, former WWE stars Nic Nemeth, Steve Maclin and The Hardys all have prominent roles in the promotion right now.
Considering various former stars on the free agency market and their current partnership with WWE, TNA Wrestling could add some talent to the company in a variety of ways.
Here are seven WWE stars to potentially join TNA Wrestling.
7. Tegan Nox (Nixon Newell)

Back in November 2024, WWE released three wrestlers, which included Tegan Nox ending her second run with the promotion.
Since then, Nox, now once again known as Nixon Newell, has returned to the independent scene where she is looking to make a name for herself again.
Through two different stints with WWE, Newell showcased some impressive in-ring ability that would help her bolster TNA Wrestling’s Knockouts division.
With her fellow former WWE star Indi Hartwell signing with TNA Wrestling recently, it would make a lot of sense to see Newell join her in the promotion.

6. Mara Sadè (Jakara Jackson)

On May 2, Jakara Jackson was part of the latest set of talent cuts from WWE after four years with the company.
During her time in the promotion, Jackson took part in their multi-year partnership with TNA Wrestling, appearing alongside Lash Legend to challenge for the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Titles.
Now that she is officially free agent, Jackson, now known as Mara Sadè, has started to appear on the independent scene for the first time in her career.
On July 6, Mara will make her debut in Jersey Championship Wrestling when she faces Masha Slamovich. This high profile bout with the TNA Knockouts World Champion could open the door for the former WWE star to make her way to TNA Wrestling officially.

5. Karrion Kross

Before signing with WWE in 2020, Karrion Kross made his name in a few different promotions, including TNA Wrestling.
Spending nearly two years with the company, Kross was a dominant force that could have become a main event talent for them if he would have stayed longer.
Considering that the former two-time NXT Champion’s contract is set to expire this year, he could join the free agency market where he could re-sign with TNA Wrestling.
Now with five years of experience in WWE, Kross could walk into the promotion and immediately find himself at a top position where he can challenge for the TNA World Championship, becoming the face of the company.

4. Duke Hanson (Duke Hudson)

In February, Duke Hudson was one of the released talents during a set of WWE talent cuts.
Wasting little time to reestablish himself, Hudson, now known as Duke Hanson, started to release vignettes exploring his exit from the company and his new persona.
Debuting on the independent scene in Reality of Wrestling, Hanson is using his large stature and experience to start anew outside of the WWE bubble.
Signing with TNA Wrestling could be the right place for Duke to stand out from the pack and become the star he wasn’t able to be during his entire six year run in WWE.

3. Akira Tozawa

One of the most underrated talents on the current WWE roster has to be considered Akira Tozawa.
Signing with WWE in 2016 after a decade in Dragon Gate and across the independent scene, Tozawa was one of the more experienced stars included in the Cruiserweight division initially.
The former WWE Cruiserweight Champion has experienced several up-and-down moments over the course of the past nine years in the promotion.
Joining with TNA Wrestling, Tozawa could get a chance to shine in a way that might not be possible right now in WWE and could highlight him in the X-Division where he should feel right at home.

2. LWO (Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde)

When the LWO was reintroduced in 2023, WWE gave the group an initial push that led to them becoming one of the most popular and a merchandise mover for the company.
However, the past two years has seen the faction’s popularity dwindle quite a bit and led to them becoming a lower mid card act.
While WWE might still be able to feature Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee, Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde have felt on the backburner for quite some time now.
After their current run over on WWE Evolve, LWO could make their way to TNA Wrestling where they could prove to be valuable to the tag team division, mixing it up with the likes of The Nemeth Brothers and The Rascalz.

1. New Catch Republic (Pete Dunne & Tyler Bate)

Another WWE tag team that has been out of the spotlight for a bit now has to be New Catch Republic.
Ever since making their return as a tag team on the March 30 edition of WWE Raw, Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate have not consistently appeared on the company’s television.
Being two of the most talented individuals on the roster, Dunne and Bate should be featured more regularly and might have to venture to another promotion to get an opportunity.
New Catch Republic would be a welcomed addition to the TNA Wrestling tag team scene where they could easily be in the running for a shot at the title and square off with the likes of First Class and The Hardys from day one.
