On the March 2 edition of WWE Raw, CM Punk took things to the next level in his rivalry with Roman Reigns by stating that he would bury “The OTC” next to his father Sika at WrestleMania 42.
This led to The Usos confronting Punk to demand an apology for disrespecting their late uncle and Jimmy Uso striking “The Best In The World” to end this segment when he refused to take accountability.
After this latest segment, it seems like Punk will be against The Bloodline on the road to Mania and may need some backup against Reigns’ family moving forward.
Here are seven WWE stars to potentially join CM Punk against The Bloodline.
7. Sami Zayn
There is no one on the WWE roster that knows The Bloodline as well as SmackDown’s Sami Zayn.
During 2022 and 2023, Zayn became a member in The Bloodline as “The Honorary Uce” and helped Roman Reigns hold onto the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship on several occasions.
This led to Zayn eventually turning on The Bloodline to stand on his own against the group and fought them consistently for the next year.
Even after reconciling and joining forces with his former Bloodline stablemates ahead of the Men’s WarGames at WWE Survivor Series 2024, Zayn might want to stand next to his friend CM Punk against Roman and company if push comes to shove.

6. Rey Mysterio
Someone who has stood side-by-side with CM Punk over the past few months is Rey Mysterio.
Once rivals and now friends, Mysterio has teamed with Punk against the likes of The Vision over on Monday Night Raw.
The WWE Hall of Famer does not seem to have a clear direction on the road to WrestleMania 42 and could get one by aligning himself with Punk once again.
Punk calling on his friend Mysterio to fight off The Bloodline would be interesting to see and create some intriguing matchups moving forward.

5. The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods)
Following his confrontation with The Usos, CM Punk might have to look at the WWE roster for who knows the reigning World Tag Team Champions well.
There is no other tag team in WWE today that is more familiar with The Usos than The New Day.
Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have battled Jimmy and Jey Uso so many times over the past decade and would be the most fitting individuals for Punk to call upon.
Punk recruiting The New Day could lead to a tantalizing trios match with Roman Reigns and The Usos in the weeks leading up to WrestleMania 42.

4. Danhausen
At WWE Elimination Chamber 2026, the mystery crate revealed that the person inside of the box was none other than former AEW star Danhausen.
Ever since making his debut, Danhausen has been causing chaos for random stars on the roster by cursing them.
Reports circulated following his signing that Danhausen’s biggest supporter within WWE today is CM Punk, who pushed for the company to sign him.
Punk and Danhausen joining forces might be what leads to “The Best In The World” having some form of backup and curses in his back pocket against The Bloodline.

3. Randy Orton
Randy Orton is no stranger to The Bloodline throughout the past few years, with the group being responsible for his back injury that sidelined him for 18 months in 2022 and 2023.
“The Legend Killer” is set to challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 42.
While his focus will be on the gold, Punk and Orton have admitted they have a tight friendship outside of the squared circle.
Knowing his history with The Bloodline, Punk could look to Orton for some backup to counteract Roman Reigns having The Usos by his side right now.

2. Cody Rhodes
Since making his return to WWE in 2023, CM Punk has stated time and time again that Cody Rhodes is one of his best friends in the company,
Punk and Rhodes have fought side-by-side on multiple occasions and have had each other’s back when everything is against them.
While they are currently world champions on opposite brands, Punk might look at Rhodes as the only person who knows what he is going through with having to face The Bloodline on the road to WrestleMania.
Despite having to deal with Randy Orton at Mania 42, Rhodes will want to remain good friends with Punk by having his back yet again in his current battle with The Bloodline leading into “The Showcase of the Immortals.”

1. Drew McIntyre
This might be the most unlikely of options, but it might also be one of the more interesting scenarios possible for CM Punk to recruit against The Bloodline.
No one’s career has been forever altered and changed by The Bloodline quite like Drew McIntyre.
While both men see The Bloodline as rivals, Punk and McIntyre were embroiled in a personal and bloody feud with one another that culminated in one of the most violent Hell In A Cell matches in WWE history.
Punk and McIntyre setting their differences aside to battle and take down The Bloodline once and for all could make for a compelling story for WWE to tell on the road to WrestleMania 42.
