The biggest TNA Wrestling event of the year is almost here, with TNA Bound For Glory taking place in Lowell, MA this Sunday.

Given the ever-growing relationship between WWE and TNA, it seems only fitting that some superstars from Raw, NXT and SmackDown pay the TNA locker room another visit.

How are you going to top what happened during this week’s TNA vs. NXT Showdown? By having a few of their biggest stars show up at the already massive event.

Bound For Glory 2025 could be one of TNA’s biggest shows of all time, so let’s take a look at who could show up this weekend.

6. R-Truth

Whether it’s Ron ‘The Truth’ Killings or K-Krush, back in the 2000s, R-Truth made a massive mark in the Impact Zone.

When he was shockingly released by WWE earlier this year – only to be brought back one week later – many speculated he might show up for one more run in TNA.

Not only did Truth’s legendary ‘What’s Up’ theme originate in TNA, it was the first and only place where he was ever able to capture a World Championship.

It is one of the most significant World Title runs of the early days of TNA, therefore it would only be fitting if The Truth is spoken one more time on a TNA program.

5. Bobby Roode

WWE star Bobby Roode

Bound For Glory is synonymous with one name from TNA’s past: Bobby Roode.

Before he was glorious, he was “The It-Factor”, a big part of TNA’s Main Event scene during the Hogan-Era, capturing two TNA World Championships.

In addition, he was part of one of the most remembered tag teams in the entire TNA history: Beer Money, a team he formed with James Storm.

At one point, TNA was planning to build the company around Roode, even having short-lived plans to have Bobby Heenan as Roode’s manager. Although Roode would not be able to compete anymore, his appearance would still be an exciting one.

4. Ethan Page

Right now, Ethan Page is on the run of his life as the WWE NXT North American Champion.

Way back when, even before his run in AEW, Page called TNA his home, as part of the celebrated team, The North, he captured the TNA World Tag Team Championships two times.

Although his old tag team partner, Josh Alexander, is All Elite right now, Page can certainly still turn some heads in his old home.

Perhaps a shocking open challenge for the NXT North American Championship against an upcoming TNA talent would be a fitting Homecoming moment for Ethan Page.

3. Motor City Machine Guns

I know you read this and instantly went ‘yeah’.  Now, remember the entrance theme they had in TNA. Double Yeah!

A few tag teams, like First Class or The Great Hands, are currently not on the TNA Bound For Glory card.

Perhaps there is a chance to give the Total Nonstop Action fans a quick nostalgia hit with Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin coming home once more.

Both together and apart, Sabin and Shelley are two of TNA’s most important stars and deserve to be celebrated at Bound for Glory.

2. Chelsea Green

A long, long time ago, Chelsea Green competed in TNA as Laurel Van Ness. This is where she really found her character in wrestling.

To this day, parts of her gear are still inspired by that time. Her return to TNA would be an instant hit with the audience, and it would come at the perfect time.

Fittingly, the leader of the Green Regime is on the lookout for a new member for her team, so why not check out the TNA roster for that mission?

And yes, Green is a regularly featured guest on my feature lists, but she is simply an asset to every single place she goes, so here’s hoping TNA get her for an appearance at Bound For Glory.

1. AJ Styles

“Get ready to fly”. Words AJ Styles said we would never hear again. But on July 20th 2025, Styles changed his mind as he appeared in TNA for the first in 11 years complete with his beloved theme.

AJ Styles is one of the biggest names in TNA history, and TNA would not be where it is today without “The Phenomenal One”.

Styles states that he plans to retire in 2026, so time is running out for what the wrestling world has been clamouring for: AJ Styles back in a TNA ring!

Sadly, as much as we all want Styles to show up at TNA’s biggest event one more time, it likely won’t happen given that Styles is in Perth, Australia for WWE Crown Jewel, unless he caught the first flight back home after his show stealer with John Cena? Wishful thinking I know.
