Whether it be Natalya’s recent transformation into Nattie, or Austin Theory’s rebrand in The Vision, there have been many recent examples of WWE stars’ careers being revitalised by a repackaging.
While these two examples have been a success so far, there are many more names on the roster who could benefit from receiving similar treatment.
Here are seven WWE stars to potentially be repackaged soon.
7. Johnny Gargano

Following Tommaso Ciampa’s WWE departure, as well as his own recent losses to both Nathan Frazer and Axiom, Johnny Gargano has been left without much direction on WWE SmackDown.
His hopelessness was epitomized on the Friday, February 6 episode of SmackDown, with his wife Candice LeRae unable to get him to move or respond to anything as he laid down on a crate backstage.
While it could be a coincidence, the crate was labeled “NXT” (see above), leading some to speculate that Johnny Wrestling could be set for a return to WWE’s third brand.
Whether that happens or not, “Johnny Wrestling” feels like he could benefit from a change in character in order to kickstart his momentum once again.

6. The Street Profits

Along with Johnny Gargano, WWE stars Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins have also been linked to an NXT return lately.
In late January, The Street Profits made their first in-ring appearances since October as they competed in three matches on the NXT live event circuit.
It’s not yet clear whether WWE has plans for the pair to transition to NXT TV, but fans did notice one change when watching the pair compete: that being Montez Ford’s noticeably more bulky look.
Perhaps making way for their rebranding as a powerhouse heel team, Ford and Dawkins would certainly benefit from a change in direction.

5. Grayson Waller

After emerging as one of the breakout stars of the NXT 2.0. era, Grayson Waller’s trajectory in WWE has slipped quite significantly in recent years.
Now positioned as Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston’s sidekick, Waller is in desperate need of a change in creative direction if he’s to reach any amount of success in WWE.
While there have been rumors that Waller is playing the role of the masked attacker who’s been foiling The Vision’s plans of late, it’s probably unlikely that the eventual reveal will in fact be the “Aussie Icon”. Instead, Waller is likely a stand-in until Seth Rollins recovers from his shoulder injury.
While that may be the case, Waller actually being revealed as the masked man would at least give him a change in character and potentially allow he and Austin Theory to finally settle their score.

4. Luca Crusifino

It has now been six months since fans last saw Luca Crusifino wrestle on WWE NXT television.
Unlike former stablemates Tony D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, Crusifino has yet to receive his rebranding after the collapse of Tony D’s Family.
While he may pop back up in WWE Evolve or NXT with a totally brand new character, it would be interesting to see Crusifino return and confront either Stacks or Tony D.
Whether for a feud or an allegiance, hopefully we see a brand new version of “The Consigliere” pop back up on WWE TV soon.

3. Michin & B-Fab

In what was supremely unfortunate timing, both Michin and B-Fab suffered injuries just as it appeared as if an interesting storyline development could be brewing.
Michin was set to challenge WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill for her title on the first SmackDown of 2026, but the match was canceled when Michin suffered a shoulder injury during WWE’s Holiday Tour.
Just one week later B-Fab also went down with injury during the same tour, cutting short any chance of her filling in during Michin’s absence.
Prior to their injuries, fans speculated that one or both Michin or B-Fab could potentially align with Jade Cargill and form a new faction. While it remains to be seen whether they will be going against Cargill again when they return, the pair being repackaged as a new heel duo would be an exciting direction for them to go in.

2. The War Raiders

After a career resurgence in late 2024/early 2025 saw them win the WWE World Tag Team Titles, The War Raiders are looking to be in need of a change of direction in 2026.
Their most recent WWE TV appearance saw the once dominant tandem torn apart by former NXT Champion Oba Femi.
While “The Ruler” is looking set to be pushed as one of WWE’s top stars for years to come, the beatdown did epitomize how much Erik and Ivar’s stock has fallen over the past year.
Thankfully, The War Raiders have been teased to be coming to AAA – with a vignette teasing their arrival on the February 14 episode. While they will likely not receive a change in presentation for this, perhaps WWE should use the opportunity and refresh Erik and Ivar’s characters – ditching the viking aesthetic in favoor of something new.

1. Sami Zayn

Following his 12th career loss to Drew McIntyre at WWE Royal Rumble 2026, Sami Zayn was looking particularly despondent on the following week’s episode of SmackDown.
While Rey Fenix attempted to give Zayn a pep talk, it seemed to fall on death ears as Zayn didn’t respond to any word being said to him, even when WWE rival Trick Williams attempted to pour salt in the wounds of Zayn’s loss.
We should get a better idea of Zayn’s potential change in direction on the February 13 episode of SmackDown, with the Canadian star competing against Cody Rhodes and Jacob Fatu in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match.
Given the strength of his opponents, it’s looking unlikely that Zayn will be making it to the Chamber – with another loss potentially bringing him closer to a full-scale breakdown.
