One hotly anticipated addition to the WWE roster remains former New Japan Pro Wrestling star Jeff Cobb.

While the former IWGP Tag Team Champion is reportedly signed to WWE, he has yet to debut nor has WWE made any comment regarding his status.

It seems pretty likely that Jeff Cobb will be making a WWE debut sometime soon, recently taking to social media to tease not only his current “retirement”, but also openness to whatever comes next.

While it remains to be seen where he may appear – main roster or NXT – it was recently reported by WrestleVotes that the current creative plans would place him doing big things on the main roster soon.

Another wrestler who has made their name internationally but could be WWE bound soon is UK women’s sensation, Rhio.

Making on-screen appearances as an extra already on WWE TV, it was reported that Rhio impressed WWE at a recent UK tryout.

While recently speculation kicked up that Rhio could be imminently WWE-bound – taking on Nina Samuels in a title vs. career match – Rhio actually ended up winning.

A current TNA Wrestling star that could be headed to WWE when available is Masha Slamovich.

The current TNA Knockouts World Champion is able to bring her hard hitting action and indie experience to immediately become a threat to foes in WWE.

As the TNA Wrestling and NXT partnership continues to create crossover moments, Slamovich has already made an on-screen appearance in NXT.

Also a three-time TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champion, she would be an excellent addition to the NXT women’s division – able to resurrect her memorable rivalry with Jordynne Grace.

Rumors persist that Mariah May could very well be WWE bound after a remarkable stint in AEW.

After signing with AEW and becoming the star of an extended storyline arc with Timeless Toni Storm, Mariah May certainly made a big impact on women’s wrestling since her arrival in the United States.

However after their Hollywood Ending match at AEW Revolution 2025, May has disappeared from AEW.

Another AEW women’s division switch to WWE could come in the form of Paige (Saraya).

Saraya recently confirmed she’s a free agent after departing AEW, and has been very open about discussing a potential WWE return.

She’s also specifically said she would prefer to return to the Paige character instead of continuing as Saraya.

It would be very rewarding to see her return to the ring to compete in speciality matches that didn’t exist when she last wrestled in WWE, like the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber, as she was one of the women who really spearheaded the revolution to pushing those matches into existence.

This comes after his recent WrestleMania appearance against Randy Orton, another clear sign that WWE sees something in the Scot.

Triple H even said in the post-Mania press conference that Hendry has more WrestleManias ahead of him.

At this point, that’s as close to confirmation as possible that WWE will be looking to sign him when his TNA deal comes up.
