The WWE NXT No Mercy 2025 premium live event takes place tonight, September 27.
The show features both top NXT titles being defended: Oba Femi vs. Ricky Saints for the men’s title and Jacy Jayne vs. Lola Vice for the women’s – it also promises violent spectacle as Blake Monroe and Jordynne Grace collide in a Weaponized Cage Match.
Perhaps the most intriguing wrinkle, however, is the looming inter-promotional battle between NXT and TNA, and what that could mean for the event.
Here are five potential last-minute additions to the show.
5. Kelani Jordan Appears With TNA Knockouts Title
The Knockouts title scene in TNA Wrestling has had a tumultuous week.
Champion Ash by Elegance appeared at Victory Road last night to announce that she had to vacate the belt.
A new champion was crowned later that night, as NXT’s Kelani Jordan defeated Léi Yîng Lee to once again bring the Knockouts Title under WWE’s banner.
While Jordan isn’t scheduled to wrestle at NXT No Mercy, we may still see the new champion make an appearance.

4. X-Division Champion Leon Slater Appears
In the main event of TNA Victory Road, X-Division Champion Leon Slater once again showed why he’s one of wrestling’s most promising young stars, defending his title in a standout clash with Myron Reed.
After the match, TNA authority figure Santino Marella announced that at next month’s Bound for Glory PPV, Slater will face NXT’s Je’Von Evans.
At No Mercy, Evans is set to take on Josh Briggs in what itself promises to be a standout affair.
In the wake of an Evans victory at WWE’s PLE, could we see TNA’s X-Division Champion appear and set the stage for these two ultra-talented high-flyers to collide?

3. Lola Vice Joined By Family Members
At No Mercy, Lola Vice is set to challenge Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women’s Championship.
In the build-up, NXT has shown a series of pre-recorded videos of Vice returning to her native Miami, reflecting on her past, her family heritage and her journey to WWE.
The well-produced videos have positioned Vice as a super babyface with a compelling backstory – but the breakout star of the pieces was undoubtedly her father, a black belt Taekwondo teacher, shown training in his gym and cutting fiery promos for his daughter.
Given the show takes place in Vice’s home state of Florida, perhaps we could see her father accompany her to the ring.

2. Lainey Reid Joins Fatal Influence
On the September 23 edition of NXT, Fatal Influence member Jazmyn Nyx was written off the show after declining to sign a new contract due to the financial offer being too low.
She was found laid out backstage, the victim of a mystery assailant.
Elsewhere on the same show, Fatal Influence were seen confronting Lainey Reid after she defeated Candice LeRae to become number one contender for the WWE Speed Title.
It seems clear seeds were planted for Reid to join the group – and likely be revealed as Nyx’s attacker – something that could very well play out at No Mercy with Reid getting involved in Jayne and Lola Vice’s clash.

1. The Invasion Continues
An inter-promotional feud between NXT and TNA broke out on the September 23 edition of NXT television, as TNA stars invaded during the main event bout between Trick Williams and Oba Femi.
Many of the TNA roster appeared, including big names like Moose, Steve Maclin, Frankie Kazarian and Eric Young, brawling with the NXT locker room.
The biggest reaction of the night came for TNA’s Matt Cardona – drawing a louder pop than anyone on the show, including WWE’s own NXT names.
It certainly seems likely that an invading force from TNA will be present at No Mercy, but perhaps the most intriguing question is what role Cardona will play.
