While WWE has reportedly signed a few stars of late that have yet to debut, there are still plenty more new potential signings out there.
With several fan favorite wrestlers either free agents or seemingly close to free agency, there are still numerous stars WWE could sign soon.
Here are nine potential new WWE signings.
9. Saraya
While Saraya had previously alluded to being contracted with AEW until September, she confirmed in March 2025 that she has parted ways from the company.
Making the media rounds in support of her new autobiography, Saraya, formerly known as Paige in WWE, is likely at least going to be asked if she is planning to return to the company.
While the two-time Divas Champion wasn’t cleared to wrestle the last time there was a WWE Evolution event, perhaps now that an Evolution 2 is reportedly in the works, she could make an appearance.
Whether it be in the ring or a different on-screen role, Saraya seemingly still has a lot to contribute and the door has always seemed open for a WWE return.

8. Alex Hammerstone
Alex Hammerstone is now a free agent after his contract with TNA Wrestling came to an end earlier this month.
Previously appearing on NXT as part of the TNA partnership, it has been reported that Hammerstone has interest from WWE.
Hammerstone has a history with Jacob Fatu in MLW, a rivalry that would be awesome to see play out in a new way in WWE.
Either debuting directly on the main roster or becoming a dominant force in NXT first, Alex Hammerstone would certainly fit in WWE.

7. Wardlow
Where is Wardlow anyway?
He was last in action in AEW over a year ago, losing to Samoa Joe via referee decision at Big Business on March 13, 2024.
Wardlow is still contracted with AEW as far as we know, and according to Matt Taven, has been recovering from a knee injury, but it is unclear how long he will be out of action.
If Wardlow ultimately does join WWE, he would be a perfect fit for NXT who may be lacking a massive monster by the time he is a free agent if Oba Femi moves to the main roster.

6. Kevin Knight
Kevin Knight’s contract may be over with NJPW but his free agency has already reportedly seen interest from WWE and AEW.
While Knight is still an apparent free agent, it was noted that he met with Tony Khan and Rocky Romero after making a recent appearance in ROH.
It has also been speculated that he is being looked at by WWE as a potential signee, so we’ll have to wait and see where he ends up.
The two-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion would be a great addition to either roster.

5. Joe Hendry
While he remains contracted with TNA Wrestling for now, Joe Hendry has already made several big appearances in WWE.
With the TNA partnership with WWE, it is likely an NXT or perhaps even main roster crossover will happen again sometime in 2025.
Since he is officially announced for appearance at WWE World in Las Vegas over WrestleMania 41 weekend, perhaps fans will get to see the return of Joe Hendry sooner rather than later.
With Hendry already having made several WWE appearances, it would be very exciting for him to finally become a full-time member of the roster.

4. Masha Slamovich
Things seem to be shifting in TNA Wrestling so perhaps now would be a good time for top Knockouts division star Masha Slamovich to consider her options.
While she was confirmed to be ‘re-signed with TNA Wrestling’ back in January 2025, the terms of her contract were not revealed.
Having already had matches against several NXT talents including Cora Jade and Jacy Jayne, Slamovich is certainly on WWE’s radar.
Similarly to another TNA Knockouts Champion, perhaps Slamovich will follow Jordynne Grace’s path from appearing on NXT to signing with WWE.

3. Danhausen
Aside from an appearance at ROH Final Battle in December, Danhausen has not been active in AEW for well over a year, but he has remained active in independent promotions across the world.
Danhausen seemingly remains signed with AEW presently with reports noting he should become a free agent sometime in the spring or summer of 2025.
Even amid a long absence, Danhausen remains a top merchandise seller for AEW, so perhaps he will bring his ardent fanbase to WWE.
With certainly a lot left to give as a performer and an in-ring wrestler, Danhausen is someone that would be a great pick-up for WWE.

2. Jeff Cobb
Reportedly Jeff Cobb is a free agent although he continues to make appearances for NJPW, most recently competing last week in tag action.
While he remains in Japan, there have been reports that WWE is interested in scouting the veteran.
Cobb has worked for NJPW since 2017 and also made appearances in ROH, AEW and CMLL.
With an already storied career, signing with WWE would certainly be a career accomplishment.

1. Mariah May
Former AEW Women’s World Champion Mariah May has recently been revealed as being in a ‘contract year’, with her current deal with AEW up sooner rather than later.
According to recent reports, Mariah May’s contract with AEW is up in Summer 2025, making her another prime candidate to be potentially swooped up by WWE.
After having a successful time in AEW, it is hard to imagine anything that May could do to top her recent storyline with Timeless Toni Storm.
However, the Glamour may elect to move on to WWE, opening up a new roster of talent for her to feud with.
