On March 2, The Undertaker posted a video of himself letting Demolition know that they are the latest inductees into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2026.
One of the most decorated tag teams of the 1980s and 90s, Ax and Smash are well deserving of being celebrated this April in Las Vegas.
Now, WWE will have to announce who from the tag team’s past will have the honor of inducting them into the Hall of Fame.
Here are six WWE names to potentially induct Demolition into the Hall of Fame 2026.
6. Arn Anderson
Arn Anderson is someone who has received his own Hall of Fame honors in the past as a member of the Four Horsemen.
While most fans remember him for his time in WCW and NWA, Anderson had a stint in WWE back in the late 1980s.
As a member of The Brainbusters with Tully Blanchard, Anderson clashed with Demolition on several occasions.
Being one of the most underrated talkers of his era, Anderson would be someone who could give Demolition the love and reverence they deserve for their special night.

5. Tully Blanchard
Speaking of Arn Anderson, his Brain Busters tag team partner and Four Horsemen stablemate Tully Blanchard is another individual who worked with Demolition a lot.
Blanchard is also an underrated talker who has received a WWE Hall of Fame induction in the past as a member of the Four Horsemen.
With the countless battles Demolition and Brain Busters had, it would be fitting for Blanchard to get the call to induct Ax and Smash.
Honoring their contributions to tag team wrestling and WWE in particular, Blanchard would be great at giving Demolition the proper respect needed for this special evening in Las Vegas.

4. Tito Santana
Another former rival of Demolition who could get the call for their WWE Hall of Fame 2026 induction is Tito Santana.
While Santana enjoyed a lot of time as a singles competitor, he is mostly remembered for his contributions to tag team wrestling as well.
Alongside Rick Martel, Santana wrestled Demolition as a member of Strike Force and put on plenty of memorable bouts.
Calling on the legend, Santana is someone who could tell some fun stories about his past with Demolition whether it be in the ring or outside of it.

3. Honky Tonk Man
One of Demolition’s peers during the 1980s and 90s was none other than the “self-proclaimed” greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time, The Honky Tonk Man.
Having not been seen on WWE TV in quite some time, Honky would be someone who fans might be excited to see again.
Being someone who traveled the world with Demolition, Honky is another individual who could tell entertaining stories about his times with Ax and Smash.
With battles at WrestleMania V, Honky Tonk Man is someone who could share some tales that will put smiles on the fans’ faces about Demolition before they are inducted into the hallowed Halls.

2. Haku
Another former rival of Demolition who could be called upon for the WWE Hall of Fame 2026 is Haku.
As a member of The Colossal Connection, Haku and Andre The Giant feuded with Demolition throughout the late 1980s.
Trading the WWF Tag Team Champions, Haku is no stranger to Ax and Smash whether it be in the squared circle or behind-the-scenes.
Haku is always a fun individual to hear speak about anything really, so it would be interesting to hear what he has to say about Demolition before their Hall of Fame induction.

1. Bret Hart
Demolition have faced a who’s who of tag teams during their time in WWE from the 1980s and 90s.
However, there might not be another duo that put on stellar matches against Ax and Smash quite like The Hart Foundation.
With Bret Hart going on to become one of the biggest WWE stars in history, it would make sense for the company to call upon “The Hitman” to bring in for this induction.
Bret talking about their famous SummerSlam 1990 battle or being on the road with Demolition would make for a memorable speech for the WWE Hall of Fame 2026.
